C1 Phrasal verb practice!
There are sooooooooo many phrasal verbs in English! It was only when I started teaching, that I realised just how much we use them! And I love them! 😍 They make up such a huge part of our everyday language! So, have a go if you wish, and let me know if you find the worksheet helpful and would like more similar exercises!💪 https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YvTVqTUAeSg0vw84u1O-358WEokftk9uimApfS12fbQ/edit?usp=sharing

This is such a great worksheet! 😍 I have to admit, "come across" is one I use all the time without even thinking about it — and then Vicent's question about "stumble across" made me stop and actually think about the difference! 😂 That extra section with the multiple meanings is gold — "put off" especially, because that second meaning (it really put me off) is one that trips people up so often! Looking forward to more of these! 💪
Welcome! Introduce yourself, and share a pic of your study space!
Like you guys, I am learning a foreign language. In my case, it is Spanish because I live in Spain, and want to communicate effectively with native speakers! Here I am studying hard for my B2 DELE, which I hope to take at the end of this year. So, why are you learning English? Post a pic of yourself in your study space, and let´s get to know each other!

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Becky, from Entre Ríos, Argentina! 🇦🇷 I joined this community because I love everything about language — the way it connects people, the way it evolves, the way a single word can carry a whole culture inside it. As a Spanish speaker myself, I know exactly that feeling Stephanie described — knowing what you want to say but not quite finding the words fast enough in the moment! Conversation really is a whole different game! 😅 So excited to be here and get to know you all! 🙌
Welcome to the community! The place where everyone can get involved in teaching as well as learning!
As I mention in this video, building a successful community is about everyone getting involved — asking and answering questions, and sharing their learning experiences, both good and bad! For this to really work, I also need to know what you want from me, so that when I show up, you can make the best possible use of my support. So tell me: what do you find most difficult about English? What topics would you like to discuss? Let me know how I can be most useful to you — and don’t forget to ask questions in the group and support one another!

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Rebeca, but everyone calls me Becky! I'm from Entre Ríos, Argentina — so yes, I'm one of those Spanish speakers who knows exactly how it feels to search for the right word in English and come up blank! 😅 What I find most fascinating (and sometimes tricky!) is that gap between knowing the language and feeling confident using it in real conversations. That's the space I'm most passionate about. Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all! 🙌
