📖 Morning Oil Recap: Esther and Overcoming Fear
We focused on the story of Esther as a powerful example of overcoming fear when stepping into a life-threatening assignment. Esther was a young Jewish woman who became queen in Persia. When a decree was issued to destroy her people, she was positioned to speak to the king—but there was a real risk: approaching him uninvited could cost her life. She wrestled with: - Fear of death - Fear of rejection - Fear of stepping out - Fear of losing everything At first, she hesitated because the risk was real. But her perspective shifted when purpose was revealed: “For such a time as this” (Esther 4:14) Instead of reacting in panic, she chose: - Prayer - Fasting - Spiritual alignment Then she moved forward in courage: “If I perish, I perish” (Esther 4:16) 🔑 Key lessons from Esther - Fear often shows up where purpose is present - Purpose gives courage more weight than fear - Prayer and fasting strengthen boldness - Obedience matters more than comfort - Courage is moving forward even when risk is real 🙏 Prayer Points / Affirmations - I break agreement with fear and intimidation - I renounce every voice that contradicts God’s truth over my life - I receive boldness to obey God even when I feel afraid - I declare peace, clarity, and courage over my mind and decisions ✨ Declare “I will not let fear silence what God has positioned me to do.” We are lifting up @Latoya Boyd @Jennifer Beauvais @Ingrid Michel @Carmen Perez @Erica McAllister from every request regarding fear. Lets all intercede for one another in Jesus name!
