Badge placement assistance please
Hi All, Im hoping to get some advice please. My son got his first star and I was about to sew it onto his uniform, however I cant seem to access the placement picture example the MASA app. Do we start from the right side (MASA badge side) or the left? Thanks families.

Hi Renee, apologies. The image is a bit hard to see in the ‘more’ button of the app. Here is the image that is in the app. Hope this helps. 🙌
School Holiday Workbook Download Now Available
Hi everyone, Our MASA® Kidz School Holiday Workbook is now available to download inside Skool. We encourage families to download the workbook and begin the booklet by Saturday so children can get started on their fun holiday activities, missions, and challenges. Please note, this is a special school holiday workbook only, and it will be available on Skool as a free download until Saturday. We ask that students complete their booklet before the new school term begins so they are ready to bring back their finished work and celebrate their efforts. This is a great way to keep children engaged, active, and connected to the MASA® spirit during the holidays. Be sure to download your copy before Saturday so you don’t miss out.

Mother's Day
To celebrate Mother's Day, we are creating a special Mum Appreciation Wall at the studio. Students are invited to decorate their template and finish the sentence in one of the templates selected. Why she is my Everyday Hero because... Children complete and return the colour-in sheet by Week 2- Monday 4th May, so we can proudly display all of the capes and badges on our Mother's Day wall. Look forward to

Happy Easter everyone! 🐣🌷
We hope you’ve all enjoyed a lovely Easter with your family and friends, filled with special moments, fun, and a little time to relax together. We’ve included several Easter colouring-in sheets for the children to choose from and enjoy. If your child is part of the MASA Kidz Club®, they are welcome to bring their completed colouring-in sheet along to Promotion Week and they will receive a gold star for their effort — even during Promotion Week ⭐ Colouring-in is such a valuable activity for children. It helps develop: - focus and concentration - hand control and fine motor skills - patience and follow-through - creativity, self-expression, and confidence It’s also a lovely calming activity that allows children to slow down. As they colour, children are using creativity, imagination, and expression, while also building coordination, planning, and control. This kind of activity is a full brain workout and supports healthy learning and development in a simple, enjoyable way. Please encourage your child to enjoy the process and have fun with it. It is perfectly okay to use any medium — pencils, crayons, markers, paint, or whatever they love most — because it all reflects their own creativity, expression, and personal style. At the bottom of the colouring page, you might also like to ask your child: What are you grateful for this Easter? Gratitude is such a beautiful habit to nurture in children. It helps them notice the good around them and appreciate the people, moments, and blessings in their lives. We are so grateful for each of you and for the wonderful community we are building together. Hope you had a Happy Easter from all of us at MASA Kidz Club® 💛
Happy Easter everyone! 🐣🌷
Parent Question of the Day
Every child is different - but many parents face similar challenges. Today's question: What is one behaviour or habit you are currently trying to improve in your child? It could be: - Listening the first time - Effort - Confidence - Attitude - Following through There is no judgement here - just support and growth. Drop your answer below. Let's help each other. Please note: We share general parenting and mindset support from our experiences as martial arts instructors, but we are not child psychologists or medical professionals.

A powerful life skill build. You're right, not even adults are perfect and even we make mistakes, it's a part of learning. The learning to not compare themselves to others, is a topic I would definitely like to talk about more, as kids do this often. As we know every child grows at their own pace and has their own strengths.

@Peter Herriot I hear you on this one. I used to think our kids came with a built in "But why? I want it NOW" setting 😅 Then off they'd go to their room and slam the door. 🤦‍♂️ For our kids, their emotions could go up and down very quickly, (which is normal) so one thing that helped was not trying to solve it all in the middle of the meltdown. We would give them a little space to calm down first, and then, when they were ready, we'd talk about their feelings while doing something they enjoyed, like playing a game or doing arts and crafts. We found this helped keep things calmer, a bit of distraction for their mood to change, and they were often much more open to talking once they felt settled. As we learnt pretty quickly, teaching often happens after the big feelings, not during them. What worked for us, may work for others but not always as every child is different in their regulation. We stayed calm and consistent, acknowledged the feeling without changing the answer, and talked later, when they were regulated again. We thought this was a good way to teach our kids how to learn that big feelings are OK and we can talk about them and move through them. I can tell you know, it's not easy.
