Struggling to stick with one business model? Read this :)
If you're going from business model to business model... Opportunity to opportunity... Then you probably have what people call the "Shiny Object Syndrome" The thing that 99% don't understand is shiny object syndrome is a symptom of being unfulfilled and having a lack of direction in your life. If the grass you're on brings you joy & fulfilment you wouldn't even care how green it is on the other side. So the solution? Find something that brings you joy & fulfilment, but is also balanced with something that makes you the most money. Easier said than done, I know! But you can get closer to what this opportunity is for you (different for everyone) with these 2 things I've used to get closer to mine: First, understand: There is money in every niche. Otherwise it wouldn't be a niche! Because of this... Your filter shouldn't be "will this make me money?" It should be "Is this aligned with who I truly am?" Second: shiny object syndrome stems from a fallacy that you can only do one thing forever. Opportunities are like rooms, you can go in and out of them. But if you believe you're forever stuck in the room you go in, you'll often just leave your foot in the doors of many rooms. Test your opportunities! 1) Review the opportunities you can go into. 2) Take an educated guess on what opportunity will be best for you. 3) Go all in on that opportunity for at least 2 months. 4) Take a breath. Back to step 1. Overtime, you'll find a good balance between what brings you joy & fulfilment, as well as what makes you the most money. The KEY is to fully commit to something in order to learn what it's actually like. Otherwise you'll be stuck on the constant loop of chasing the next shiny object! One last thing: There's shit in every business. You won't find a business on Earth that doesn't have problems to deal with. "Joy & fulfilment" doesn't mean everything is OK, all of the time...It means that what you do on a day to day is aligned with who you are. It's not about finding a business without problems, it's about finding the problems you love to solve!
