You know more than you think you do - PMP Exam Tips
Hi, PMP friends! I am happy to announce that I passed my PMP exam. It feels great to have accomplished this goal. ๐ŸŒŸ A HUGE shoutout to our Zoom Study Group -- from a motivational perspective, you all were the biggest differentiator for me. I knew that each week, I had accountability partners teaching me, allowing me to teach them, and cheering me on along the way. I have met people from all over the world that I would not have otherwise met. You are all so smart, dedicated and supportive -- best group ever. ๐Ÿ’— My scores: People Domain: Above Target Process Domain: Target Business Environment Domain: Above Target If you have been studying regularly for a few months, if you feel comfortable with the PM mindset, and if you can confidently speak to key PMP concepts, you are probably more ready than you think you are to take the exam. As humans, we have a tendency to sometimes doubt ourselves and root for our friends and loved ones. Continue to root for your friends and loved ones, but also BEGIN to positive self-talk (you are amazing too). In preparation for the PMP exam, worry less about scoring a certain number on your practice exams, and focus more on understanding what the concepts actually mean (and how they can be applied to any scenario that is presented to you). What helped me the most with my preparation? 1) AR's Udemy Course 2) PMI Practice Exam 3) Our Zoom Study Group 4) Rita M's PMP book. 5) AR's drag & drop video on YouTube Tip: make sure that you comfortably understand your ITTOs (in addition to understanding the processes and process groups). What helped me the least? 1) Overthinking 2) Wasting money on too many books that I barely read Tip: stick with a few materials to confuse yourself LESS ๐Ÿ˜… Exam Day Prep: 1) Get there early (if taking your exam at a test site) 2) Utilize those 10-min breaks in between each section (stretch, drink water, just walk away from the screen) 3) Be prepared for a mind %#@! -- seriously (a 4 hour exam is no joke - I went through every emotion and frustration while taking the exam)

Conflict solve 1
A project manager is preparing the charter for a software development project that will outsource 27% of user interface testing. The project manager requires software developers to identify the parts of the Ul that vendor can test. However, the software functional manager believes that the project will reduce staff in the software development organization and refuses to cooperate. What should the project manager do first? A. Meet with the functional manager to review the statement of work. B. Ask the project sponsor to explain the reason for the 3rd party testing to the functional manager. C. Provide cost/benefits analysis of 3rd party testing to the functional manager. D. Explain the intent of the Ul testing to the functional manager

D. My rational. Mindset always good to meet face to face and discuss the conflict.
