What if the leadership you’ve been striving for… isn’t the leadership God actually called you to?
So many of us have been conditioned to lead from pressure, performance, and comparison. But faith-led leadership? It looks different. It’s quieter. It's surrendered. It's anchored. Faith-led leadership looks like choosing discipleship over competition. It means you’re not trying to outpace, outshine, or outdo. You’re focused on obedience, growth, and who God assigned you to serve. That’s why this clip hits so deeply: "God has called us to discipleship, not competition… we have to take Him out of our box… He’s always going to show up… but we have to let Him show up the way He wants to… just like we tell others ‘let me do it my way’ — God is saying the same thing… ‘I got this.’” How often have we tried to lead while quietly telling God, “I got it… I’ll handle it… just bless it.” Meanwhile, He’s saying: “I was here before you. I’m with you. I’ll be here after you.” Faith-led leadership looks like: - Releasing control, even when you can handle it - Trusting God’s pace when everything in you wants to rush - Letting Him lead—even when it doesn’t match your plan - Prioritizing intimacy with Him over visibility with people - Building people up instead of measuring yourself against them And if you’re honest… this is the tension, isn’t it? You’re capable. You're called. But you’re tired of carrying it all like it depends only on you. This is exactly why I created She Leads Boldly. Because I’ve lived that life. The constant pressure, the silent disconnect from God while still “doing all the right things.” And what I learned? You don’t need to strive harder. You need to realign deeper. Inside this space, we’re learning how to lead: ✨ With God, not just for Him ✨ From overflow, not exhaustion ✨ With clarity, not confusion Faith-led leadership isn’t about doing more. It's about letting God do what only He can... through you. 💬 Let’s talk: Where have you been trying to lead without fully letting God lead you?

Let me say something that might stretch you a little…
If You Have to Control It… You Don’t Trust God With It. The constant striving, overworking, overthinking, and trying to manage every detail of your life? That’s not discipline. That’s not ambition. That’s not even excellence… It’s a trust issue. I know because I lived it. There was a season where I was doing all the things: showing up at work, leading at home, building, serving… and still feeling anxious, exhausted, and low-key afraid that if I let go, even a little, everything would fall apart. And the truth God revealed to me was simple, but sobering: “You’re not operating in obedience… you’re operating in control.” Because when we refuse to slow down… When we won’t release the outcome… When we feel like everything depends on our hands… What we’re really saying is: “God, I hear You… but I don’t fully trust You.” Whew. Obedience requires surrender. And surrender will always feel uncomfortable to a woman who’s used to carrying everything. But here’s the shift: God never asked you to carry the weight. He asked you to follow His lead. There is a difference between: - Being responsible vs. being in control - Taking action vs. forcing outcomes - Moving in obedience vs. moving in fear And if you’re honest… Some of what you’ve been calling “hard work” is actually you trying to help God fulfill His promises. Sis… He doesn’t need your help. He needs your yes. Your obedience will take you further than your overexertion ever will. ✨ Reflection: Where in your life are you gripping tightly instead of trusting fully?

This is so good!! When we are operating in control it also fatigues us. Often times I wonder why I'm so tired, and I realize its because I am trying to do my job and God's. I have to remind myself to surrender and rest.
🚨 Leaders, hear this: Not every invitation deserves your attention.
Scripture for today: Nehemiah 6:3 —"I am doing a great work and cannot come down." Nehemiah was rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem when his enemies repeatedly tried to distract him. They invited him to meetings, tried to pull him into conversations, and attempted to get him off assignment. His response? "I am doing a great work and cannot come down." That is the posture of faith-filled leadership. As women who lead in our homes, careers, and communities, we often feel pressure to say yes to everything — every request, every expectation, every opportunity. But godly leadership requires discernment and courage. Sometimes the most spiritual decision you can make is simply this: ➡️ No. Not because you don’t care. Not because you aren’t capable. But because God has already given you an assignment. Nehemiah understood something powerful: Every distraction is not an assignment. And every meeting is not aligned with the mission. Faith-filled leadership means protecting what God called you to build. That may look like: • Saying no to conversations that drain your focus • Setting boundaries around your time and energy • Refusing to abandon the work God entrusted to you The truth is…Many high-achieving women aren’t struggling with ability. They’re struggling with capacity because they keep coming down from the wall. The courage to stay focused is a spiritual discipline. And when you learn to lead from God’s pace instead of pressure, everything begins to shift. ✨ Your peace returns ✨ Your decisions become clearer ✨ Your leadership becomes sustainable This is exactly why I mentor high-achieving Christian wives and mothers who want to lead boldly without burning out or losing themselves in the process. Inside my work, we realign leadership, marriage, motherhood, and ambition with God’s rhythm — not the world’s urgency. 🎙 I talk about this often on my podcast She Leads Boldly, where we have honest conversations about faith, leadership, boundaries, and living at God’s pace.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 This is definitely an area I have struggled in. I am learning how to obey the voice of God inside. I had moments when I knew what I had to do, distractions would magically showup, and discernment would tell me to say no; but I would not listen. Which resulted in a less than ideal outcome. However, I am learning to lean into that tap on shoulder moment when God gently says to me "Say No"... 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
