Hi! Yes, I’m able tomorrow at 6pm too
Welcome! Introduce yourself, and share a pic of your study space!
Like you guys, I am learning a foreign language. In my case, it is Spanish because I live in Spain, and want to communicate effectively with native speakers! Here I am studying hard for my B2 DELE, which I hope to take at the end of this year. So, why are you learning English? Post a pic of yourself in your study space, and let´s get to know each other!

Hi Stephanie. I have been learning English since I was a child. During my degree, I studied some subjects in English, and I recently obtained my C1 certificate.

Hi there! I’d find it very helpful to practice expressions used in literature. Exploring the language of different authors is exactly what I’m looking for, but I admit it can be quite challenging, so perhaps we can take it step by step
Hi everyone! 😊
I am currently a Hispanic Philology student at university. I’ve decided to focus on my English because I believe it gives me a wonderful opportunity to understand a new language and culture from a literary point of view. My main goal is to explore and read more works by classic English authors and books in their original version. This way, I can make connections with my Spanish studies. I'm excited to be here and learn with all of you!

Hi Stephanie. Etymology focuses on the origin and history of words, while philology also studies literature, historical texts, and how languages evolve over time. So etymology is actually part of philology. I haven’t read many English classic books, but I have read Frankenstein, Pride and Prejudice, and some Shakespeare. I studied more English literature, but it wasn’t for pleasure, since everything was evaluated in an exam. Now I want to read it in my spare time.
