Shooting on IPHONE
Hi, I have an iPhone 13 mini, and it seems I can't shoot in LOG. Do you have any tips on how to make the footage look flat, LOG-like?

i think theres no point in trying to make it look like log footage. the problem is that iphone burns info into its videos which make it bad to color grade.

Color grade quality when exporting
Hey guys, I love using DaVinci so far but I'm trying to export my first video and I'm going to post it anyway but the grading on it is not exactly like how I had it in DaVinci. If anyone has insight as to what I could be doing wrong, please feel welcome to educate me because I have no clue why the software is exporting my video with poor color retention.

you should be exporting in rec.709A or viewing in VLC

Preserve your look after Davinci export 📹
Boys, after hours of trying to figure out why my Videos looked so washed out after i exported from Davinci, i've finally found the one thing that was making the difference. This one Setting is extremely important: Go to DaVinci Resolve → Preferences → General → Enable “Use Mac Display Color Profiles for Viewers.” → Restart Resolve. This will make sure that what you see on your Davinci preview, corresponds to what iphone users will see on instagram, tiktok etc.
