I thought I would share my thread space! This is where I look for inspiration, dream about what is possible. Every drawer is filled with tools, supplies, and love waiting to be made. I have several studio spaces this is just for my thread. I decided to do my videos for you all in my pottery space because the island has a better place to grip the lights and camera. I made this for my friends daughter for her birthday this coming Feb. The only thing I have left now is to sew the tails in!!

We went to see Avatar Fire and Ash for a Christmas treat. I was immediately sucked in by the incredible headdress done with this lace stitch and chording. Many aspects of the movie depicted crochet work done by villages by the sea which holds true to where crochet most likely derived. I thought I would share the inspiration and give some thoughts on how fun it would be to create this. Very impressive!

So I'm currently expanding the things I plan to carry in my reputare that people can purchase from me. And I started this shirt top, well I didn't understand how to do the loose crocheting, so unfortunately my medium woman's shirt is more like a medium girls shirt! 😢 But live and learn, I do hope that we learn how to do this in this class as I'm not used to letting my work be loose!! The first is of course the one I'm working on with the yarn color. The second pic is what it should look like.
