Meet Rahaf
Hi everyone, I’m Rahaf Almutairi, a junior Mechanical Engineering student at KFUPM, almost a senior in less than a month. I enjoy taking on leadership roles in technical teams, and I’ve worked on hands-on projects like Shell Eco-marathon and UAV airframe design. This summer, I’ll be joining SLB for a two-month internship at the Rebound Production Center in France🇫🇷. Curious to learn how engineering and leadership come together in real field environments.

Great to be here! Looking forward to the session and meeting everyone tomorrow.
🚨 First Community Check-In and Introductions!!
Hello guys, and welcome to the Future Energy Leaders network. This is network is designed to help connect you with like-minded, ambitious professionals in the energy industry worldwide, so let’s get things moving. 👇 Drop a quick intro to yourself below: 1. What are you working on right now in energy? 2. What excites you most about the next 12 months in your career? 3. One question to everyone else in the network... Take 2 minutes — post below and engage with a couple of others. I'll go first...

Hi Emilio, 1. I’m currently a Mechanical Engineering student at KFUPM, focused on energy and field operations, and I’m preparing for summer training this coming summer. 2. What excites me most about the next 12 months is getting real field exposure in oilfield products and operations, and stepping into my senior year with a more practical understanding of how engineering decisions are made on the ground. 3. My question to the network: how do you think early-career engineers can best develop real decision-making skills in high-pressure field environments?
Emilio's Intro
Hi guys, I'm Emilio and here is my intro... 1. What are you working on right now in energy? I’m building The Energy Executive 360 Podcast and trying to bring on as many big guests as possible.I’ll be filming episodes in Paris this April, and I’m also planning an event in London — all focused on connecting ambitious people in energy with the leaders shaping the industry. 2. What excites you most about the next 12 months in your career? Continuing to build my network globally in energy. Most people’s networks are very local, and I think that’s a big limitation. For me, building relationships across regions — Europe, the US, the Middle East, Africa — is a huge advantage. And at the same time, I want to help other ambitious people in the industry do the same — connect, grow, and move faster. 3. Question for the community: Where do you see yourself in 15 years in the energy industry? Think big — if everything goes to plan, where do you want to be? And more importantly —what are you doing in the next 6 months to start moving towards that? Because big long-term goals don’t just happen… they’re built through small, consistent steps. 🙌

Hi Emilio, In 15 years, I see myself in a leadership role in the energy industry in Saudi Arabia, working on large-scale projects and leading operations and teams in the field. In the next 6 months, I’ll be joining SLB for a two-month internship before starting my senior year, gaining real field exposure and building my technical and project skills. On a personal level, I want to keep traveling, discovering new cultures, and seeing more of the world while growing my career.
