Hello everyone! My name is Radion. I’m originally from Russia, Siberia, but four years ago I was forced to leave my country due to well-known and unfortunate events. I truly hope that peace will come and people will be able to be kinder and happier again — I really wish for that. At the moment, I live in Tbilisi, Georgia, but in about six months I’m planning to move to Barcelona, Spain. I’ve already started learning Spanish. I have my own drum room with a Ludwig Questlove kit, where I practice and also give private drum lessons, including lessons for children. I’m 27 years old and have been playing drums since I was 18. I graduated from a music college, where I studied for four years. Unfortunately, it didn’t teach me many truly useful things, but it is what it is. Since graduating in 2019, I’ve never stopped searching for new knowledge — I’ve taken private lessons and spent a huge amount of time practicing. Right now, I’m especially interested in learning how to play with brushes. I believe it’s an essential skill for jazz and many other genres as well. Happy New Year to everyone!
