Feedback for new indoor tennis courts!
Hi! I am looking for feedback on what kind of things YOU would like to see/have at a new indoor tennis facility? Gym? Shake station/Cafe? Lounge? Classroom?

Hey Bryan! This is super exciting! I’ve been thinking about what would make an indoor tennis facility truly amazing, and here’s my list. Let me know if you have any questions or if you strongly disagree, in which case… let’s debate 🤪 Must-haves (a.k.a. What I think are non-negotiables): - High-quality court surfaces – A hard court that looks great and has good cushioning is the #1 thing for me. A bad court can ruin the whole experience—both for my feet and my soul. - Proper lighting – Bright, evenly distributed LED lighting! I hate not being able to see the ball 😭 - High ceilings & ample space – I need to be able to serve without feeling like I’m going to hit a ceiling panel. Also, lobs should be won or lost based on skill, not structural interference 😂 - Lounge area with a hydration station – Because sometimes, you need to sit down and contemplate that one easy shot you totally should have made. Also, I am parched 24/7, and if I can’t refill my bottle easily, I will complain. - Locker rooms & showers – For the sake of me and everyone I encounter post-match. No one wants to be that person showing up somewhere still radiating tennis sweat. Nice-to-haves (but would be sad if they weren’t there): - Noise reduction/soundproofing – My #1 complaint at Bay Club is the acoustics of chaos. The echoing makes it feel like I’m playing inside a giant tin can, and it took me forever to adjust. Let’s not do that. - A healthy smoothie bar or café – People love chatting after a match, and what better way to do that than over a delicious snack? Bonus: I like getting my protein in ASAP, so having good post-match fuel would be clutch. - Stringing & pro shop – Having a place for emergency string jobs and gear restocks is always a plus. It saves me from frantically Googling “nearest tennis shop” when I break a string mid-week. - Smart court technology – How cool would it be to have cameras and sensors tracking shots, speed, and accuracy? I want stats. I want data. I want to analyze exactly where my backhand is failing me. - Ball machines & a practice wall – Sometimes, you just need to hit 100 forehands in a row until something clicks. - Tennis-specific gym – Strength and agility training specifically for tennis players would be amazing. I actually don’t know of any places that have this, but I wish they did! - Programs & community events – Social events, competitive play, leagues, tournaments—basically, all the fun stuff that keeps people coming back.
