🕊️ Advent Theme: Peace
As we move through Advent, we pause today to reflect on the deep and lasting peace that Jesus brings. Not the kind the world gives—temporary and fragile—but a peace that calms our hearts, steadies our minds, and anchors our souls. What Advent Peace Means: 🕊️ Peace in His Presence Jesus is Emmanuel—God with us. His nearness brings comfort in our chaos and hope in our waiting. 🕊️ Peace in Our Circumstances Even when life feels uncertain, His peace reminds us that we are held by a faithful and unchanging God. 🕊️ Peace with One Another Christ calls us to be peacemakers, reflecting His love through grace, kindness, and forgiveness. 🕊️ Peace for Our Hearts He quiets our fears and replaces anxiety with assurance: “My peace I give you.” As we journey through Advent, may we slow down, breathe deeply, and receive the peace only Jesus can give. He is our Prince of Peace—today and always.

🌟 Symbols of the Nativity
The Nativity story is filled with powerful symbols that point us to who Jesus is and why His birth matters. Each element in the scene carries deep meaning—reminding us of God’s love, humility, and promise fulfilled. ✨ The Manger A manger—simple and humble—shows that Jesus came not in earthly glory but in complete humility. It reminds us that God meets us where we are, not where the world expects greatness. ✨ Mary and Joseph Mary represents faithful obedience; Joseph represents protective, steady trust. Together, they reflect the beauty of surrendering to God’s plan even when it doesn’t make sense. ✨ The Shepherds The shepherds symbolize God’s heart for the humble and ordinary. They were the first to hear the good news, showing that the gospel is for everyone—not just the powerful or privileged. ✨ The Angels Angels proclaim peace and joy, announcing that the Savior has come. They remind us that heaven celebrates God’s redemption plan. ✨ The Star The star guided wise men to Jesus, symbolizing divine direction. It teaches us that God still leads those who seek Him. ✨ The Wise Men & Their Gifts Gold, frankincense, and myrrh reveal Jesus’ identity: Gold for a King Frankincense for His divinity Myrrh foreshadowing His sacrifice Which Nativity symbol speaks to you the most, and why?
