Introducing: The Vizzy D Resource Library 📚
I've been wanting to build this for a while, and it's finally here. The *Vizzy D Resource Library* is a shared space of books, podcasts, documentaries, readings, newsletters and accounts that have shaped how we think about death, grief and ceremony, built by this community, for this community. You can find it in the Classroom tab. It's not a list I've put together alone. It's meant to grow with whatever's actually shaping your practice right now, the book that changed how you show up with a family, the podcast episode you've sent to three colleagues, the poem you keep coming back to for readings. Inside you'll find a growing library of: 📖 Books 🎧 Podcasts 🎥 Documentaries & Films 🕊️ Poems & Readings ✍️ Newsletters & Substacks 🌐 Organisations & Websites 🎓 Courses & trainings 🎵 Playlists Comment below with all your suggestions! Just include what it is, who it's by, and one honest line on why it stuck with you. We're not after exhaustive lists here, we're after the things that actually changed how you think or work. This is one of those small, ongoing things I hope becomes genuinely useful over time. Curious to see what this community pulls together... Only love, Amy 🐦‍⬛

Donna Ashworth’s poetry is quite popular, her poems are very accessible, especially for people who aren’t that into poetry. All of her collections have suitable poems, but I’ve given “Loss” to two friends whose husbands died, and they both loved it!
Vizzy D Family Meeting: Virtual Cuppa this Friday!
Gentle reminder we will hold our first free online gathering this Friday 8th June - you can view the link & time zone details in the CALENDAR tab on Skool. Bring your questions / ideas / reflections - will be so nice to be together. ☕️

I had to work yesterday but I’m very much looking forward to joining the next one!
Start Here: Watch Welcome Video & Tour
If you work in death care - as a funeral celebrant, death doula, funeral director, interfaith minister or end of life carer - and you want to build your presence so the families who need you can actually find you, you're in exactly the right place. The community is free to join. With free & paid classes added all the time. And this is very much a living, growing thing - built for a global community of death workers doing things differently. Start by watching the welcome video here. Then have a look around, introduce yourself in the community feed, and let me know what you most want to learn... Welcome to The Visible Death Worker 👋 Really glad you're here. 🖤
