DAY 1 — Is Retatrutide Going Away September 24?
Okay. Deep breath. If somebody told you retatrutide is "going away on September 24," I want you to set that down for just a second. Not because I'm going to tell you everything is fine, and not because I'm going to tell you everything is doomed — but because right now there is a LOT of information flying around, and a good chunk of it is just... wrong. So I'm starting a series. We're going to follow this retatrutide story from the very beginning, all the way through September 24, and whatever happens after that. In plain English. No rumors, no fear-mongering, no picking sides. Just one question, over and over: what do the actual documents say? Let's start by killing the biggest rumor. September 24, 2026 is NOT the day retatrutide gets banned. It is also NOT the day retatrutide magically becomes FDA approved. I know. Both of those have been floating around. Neither one is true. So what actually IS happening that day? On September 24, lawyers for Eli Lilly and lawyers for the federal government are scheduled to show up in front of a federal appeals court. If "appeals court" makes your eyes glaze over, stay with me, because it's honestly simpler than it sounds. Picture two people who disagree about what a rule means. They take it to a judge. The judge makes a call. And then one side goes, "Hold on — we think the judge got part of that wrong, and we want a higher court to look at it." That's an appeal. That's it. That's the whole thing. So on September 24, the lawyers walk into the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and make their case out loud to a panel of judges. That's called oral argument. And here's the part I really want you to hang onto: September 24 is the day both sides go in and explain their positions. It is not necessarily the day we get an answer. Those judges can listen, ask a hundred questions, go back and study the whole thing, and then release their written decision weeks or months later. Courts do not work on Instagram timelines. 😅

Great information 👍 It's gonna be an interested ride along for us. Meanwhile I think I'm gonna stock up on Reta (just in case) 😉
Another recon question
Hi ladies once again reaching out for help. The Aicar 100mg is not a normal size vial so I'm guessing it takes more BAC water. Can anyone tell me how much and what is the protocol for it? Much appreciated!

Thanks Holly, I have become pretty familiar with a peptide calculator but the recommended starting dose for this particular pep is what I couldn't find anywhere. My first thought was that the size of the bottle was a little wider, it was going to need about 5mL of BAC. To be on the safe side shouod I start low? Maybe 2mg? That's where I'm struggling 😩
Protein + GLP-1: Why Your Appetite Isn’t Your Enemy (It’s Just Changed)
If you’re on a GLP-1, you already know the appetite suppression is real. But here’s what we don’t want to happen: you forget to eat protein because you’re just… not hungry. Here’s the thing: GLP-1s slow gastric emptying and activate satiety signals in your brain. Translation—you feel fuller on less. That’s the point. But your muscles don’t know you’re on medication. They still need protein to repair and maintain. The practical play: ✓ Protein first, always. Make it the only thing you’re required to finish at a meal. If you can only eat 3-4 oz of salmon + a few bites of veggies, that salmon is the win. ✓ Make it dense. Reach for high-protein, lower-volume foods: Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, bone broth, rotisserie chicken, fish. You need nutrient density now, not volume. ✓ Spread it out. 20-30g at breakfast, 20-30g at lunch, 20-30g at dinner. Smaller, frequent hits are easier on a suppressed appetite than trying to power through a huge meal. ✓ Sip your protein. A protein shake (especially whey or collagen) is absorbed faster, sits lighter, and gets your numbers up without the heavy feeling. The real talk: Undereating protein while on GLP-1 accelerates muscle loss. We’re here for composition change, not just scale change. Your appetite suppression is working. Your protein target is non-negotiable.

Couldn't of read this at a better time. Yesterday I skipped dinner because I wasn't hungry and I have a rule about eating too late. I regret it now because I woke up with a tremendous amount of hunger and this feeling was making me want to eat "junk." Luke everything I thought would please my hunger was high carb breakfast. I resisted and went for something small with more protein because I new it would turn into a cycle for me. I love the supoort and knowing we are all going through this together ❤️

🧬 PEPTIDE OF THE WEEK: THYMOSIN ALPHA-1 (TA-1)
Ladies, this week we’re diving into a fascinating research peptide: Thymosin Alpha-1, often shortened to TA-1. If you’ve heard people describe TA-1 as an “immune peptide,” there’s a reason for that. Researchers have been studying it for its relationship with the immune system and immune regulation. 🔬 WHAT IS THYMOSIN ALPHA-1? Thymosin Alpha-1 is a peptide originally identified from thymosin fraction 5, a preparation associated with the thymus. And the thymus is important because it plays a major role in the development and function of T cells — immune cells that help your body recognize and respond to threats. 🛡️ WHY ARE RESEARCHERS INTERESTED IN IT? Research involving TA-1 has explored areas including: • T-cell function • Immune-system signaling • Innate and adaptive immune responses • Inflammatory regulation • Immune responses during certain infections and illnesses • How immune function changes with age One of the things I find especially interesting is that TA-1 is generally discussed in research as an immune modulator rather than simply an “immune booster.” Think of modulation as helping study how the immune system communicates and regulates itself, rather than just trying to turn everything up. 👩‍🔬 WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THIS AFTER 40? The immune system changes as we age, and the thymus itself gradually becomes less active over time. That makes thymus-related peptides and immune aging an incredibly interesting area of research. This DOES NOT mean TA-1 has been proven to reverse immune aging or that someone should take it for that purpose. We’re learning the science and separating what researchers are actually investigating from the claims we sometimes see online. ⭐ THIS WEEK’S TAKEAWAY When you hear Thymosin Alpha-1, remember: THYMUS → T CELLS → IMMUNE REGULATION That little connection will make TA-1 much easier to remember. 👇 Have you heard of Thymosin Alpha-1 before, or is this your first introduction to it? For educational and research discussion only. This post is not medical advice or an individualized treatment recommendation.

I hear it a lot on TT where moms are ordering to have for back to school season. Also when going on trips we are more susceptible to new viruses floating around, especially in airports👍
