Intro
Hey, I’m Nicole and I help introverts travel in a way that doesn’t drain their energy. Think cruises, small group trips, and always with space to breathe. Right now I’m building The Introvert Travel Collective and focusing on showing up more this year. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Your focus on travel that doesn’t drain energy is so perceptive. I work with thoughtful, often introverted business owners around visibility and brand photography, so that idea of creating space to breathe really resonated. What are you working on at the moment?
Emails ➡️ Clients
Hello! My name’s Angelina & I’m a travel agent from western NY. I found this space from stumbling upon Kylie’s podcast recently. I’ve always been very messy and scrappy with putting together my email list (never segmented anything, manually added each of my 2k subscribers, etc. it was driving me crazy) and I am finally investing more into making it flow better and somehow am also finding that facebook is a good spot for me to grow my email list (I’ve gained about 700 new emails in the last 2-3 months via fb and find that it’s helping me way more than I ever felt possible-not in a bragging way at all bc I know many have way larger audiences, more of an I amazed myself thing to share), however with two young kids, I don’t find it sustainable to try posting on fb daily…So I’m trying to make my emails work smarter for me and turn more email subscribers into clients, otherwise what’s the point of my email list growing. It’a tricky as a travel agent bc most people are finding me after they’ve booked their trip, so I have to hope to build their trust and become someone they want to turn to when thinking of their next trip. I rambled on more than I expected, but looking forward to being a part of this community. :) Thanks!

I really enjoyed reading this, Angelina, especially your honesty about what’s felt messy and what’s starting to work. The way you described building trust after someone has already booked really stood out.
Hi everyone! I’m Ellen 👋
I run Engaging Reluctant Readers, where I support moms who feel stuck in nightly reading battles with their kids. I’m a former reluctant reader myself, so a lot of what I teach comes from both personal experience and what I’m seeing with families now. Right now, I’m focused on my podcast, creating low-ticket digital resources, and starting to build out tutoring support for struggling readers starting with a virtual summer reading camp. I’d really love more clarity on how to grow my reach beyond my current audience—especially in a way that doesn’t require me to be everywhere all the time. Sustainably is key and I need it to work for my introverted-self, I’d rather see slower growth than risk burnout in the process. So glad to be here! I can’t wait to get to know all of you better 🤩

@Ellen Westbrook I really relate to what you said about learning from both your own experience and the families you work with. There’s something very real and evolving about that. And yes, I’ve noticed that too about teachers. It feels like the skills carry across in such a natural way, even when the work looks different on the surface. I think there’s something in the way teachers observe and support people that fits beautifully into business. I would have loved to have found a way to stay closer to teaching myself, but it’s interesting how those threads still show up in other ways.

@Ellen Westbrook Hi Ellen, I hear what you’re saying about finding aligned audiences, especially with a niche. I was at an event today where collaboration came up a lot, and one idea that I’m going to try was email swaps with people who serve a similar audience in a different way. It felt like a simple, more contained way to connect without needing to be everywhere. Might be something worth exploring alongside podcasts.
I'm the calm in the chaos!!
I’m Naomi, a 1:1 mindset and confidence coach for women who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. I help self-aware women (or ones who want to be more self-aware, lol) stop getting in their own way, shift their energy, and use mindset and manifestation to move from overthinking and self-doubt into clarity, confidence, and aligned action. As the calm in the chaos, I guide women to see their patterns, have real AHA moments, and reconnect with themselves so they can create a life that actually feels good to live.

I really liked how you described being the calm in the chaos. That felt very relatable. I work with thoughtful business owners around visibility and brand photography, and I see a lot of overlap in how women experience overwhelm and self doubt. It would be lovely to connect and hear more about your work.

@Naomi Kreske what’s the benefit of 1000 on your email list?
✍🏽 Rewriting my life as an introverted overthinking freelancer
Hi, I'm Kristina Lopez, a freelance writer and book editor with a penchant for overthinking and way too many great ideas not to live the life I want. I’m obsessed with musicals, film scores, true crime, herbal tea, and have a serious sweet tooth (working on it). 👀 I’m passionate about helping mental health professionals, women’s health experts, and lifestyle brands find ways to help their clients live better through copywriting and content services. I'm also a book editor helping indie authors get their story out of their heads and onto the page so they can finally publish their book.📚 As a business of one, it sounds like a lot.....✨because it is✨....but I enjoy the creative side and the analytical side. Unfortunately, having that duality in my business can make it hard to choose how to approach having an email list which makes it hard to scale and not rely on my own 1:1 time to help more people and make more money. I believe I'm going to focus on my indie author clients but I also love writing and want to keep doing that too. Feeling stuck and also hella inspired all the time feels like getting stuck in a pinwheel that won't turn. But I'm here. I'm doing the thing. And I'm going to give it my all to try and figure it out, no matter how many turns it takes. 🫡 ✨Would love to know if there are any other dual niche freelancers/business owners/content creators out there! What you do about it when it comes to your email list and content strategy? Happy to connect with you all! Much love and may all of our plans work out in our favor. 💜

@Kristina Lopez Sustainability matters to me too. Long before I started my business, I heard a podcast promoting building a slow, soulful & sustainable business & that really spoke to me. I’m sure your plans will be manageable. I have managed to keep up with mailing weekly since January. Wishing you success.
