THE CRONE’S TAROT CODE
The Rules of the Lantern-Bearers: The Crone doesn’t coddle. If you’re here to be told you’re “special” without doing the inner work, you’re in the wrong woods. We read cards, not futures. Tarot is a mirror, not a crystal ball. No predictions, no guarantees, no bypassing. The cards reveal you, not the lottery numbers. Your intuition is the authority. Books are references, teachers are guides, but your voice is sovereign. You do not hand your power to anyone - not even me. Shadow is not optional. If a card triggers you, annoys you, or makes you squirm? Good. That’s the doorway. Walk through it. No “love-and-light” erasure. This is a space where darkness is allowed to have a seat at the table. We don’t shame fear. We don’t bypass pain. We honor the whole human. Gatekeeping is dead here. You don’t need 20 years of study or a lineage to pick up a deck. You just need honesty, curiosity, and willingness. We name our projections. If a reading stirs up old wounds or insecurities, we acknowledge them instead of turning them into “messages from spirit.” Respect the deck, but don’t mythologize it. Your cards are tools, not deities. Treat them well, but don’t assign them power that should belong to you. We interpret responsibly. No fearmongering, no doom readings, no telling someone “your ex is definitely coming back.” If you don’t know, you say you don’t know. We tell the truth, even when it stings. Tarot is a blade. It cuts through bullshit. And that’s why it heals. Synchronicity is sacred. Coincidence is fine too. We don’t need to turn every moment into a mystical omen. Sometimes a crow is just a crow. This is a trauma-informed space. We never use the cards to shame, guilt, or manipulate others. We honor nervous systems and lived experiences. No spiritual cosplay. We don’t borrow identities or claim powers we don’t have. We practice with integrity and humility. Curiosity over correctness. Tarot is not a test. You cannot fail it. You simply keep asking better questions.

@Zarae Knox it’s not always about remembering the cards word for word the cards are an open tool to help guide the way and reading in them as a story like vision from the client by reading their aura helps you read their cards they are also a great door way for meditation as they can be used as your spirit guide.to do an accurate reading is being able to read a person with out the cards but the cards help the person to see what your explaining it can take years to master the readings I’m now in my crone years but started the tarot when I was 16 so I wish you the best and will always try and guide you on your road
Welcome Alma
Welcome @Alma Trevino ✨ You’ve stepped into a space that is intentionally tended. Here, we slow down with the cards. We listen for what unfolds in layers rather than rushing toward clarity. Presence matters more than performance. 'The Crone’s Code' guides how we hold this circle - steady, respectful, and honest. It keeps the hearth warm and the container strong. When it feels aligned, you’ll find 'Walking with the Cards' in Classroom → Adventures & Quests. It’s a grounding place to begin or return to. Take your time. You’re welcome here.

Week 2 - Observation
Which card represents Observation as an abstract energy? Reflection angles: - Is observation curiosity or hypervigilance? - Is it strategy or hesitation? - When does watching sharpen discernment? - When does it delay participation?

All the cards observe things around them but the main one is the queen of swords she observes what close by and around her she’s an older lady who has learnt much and will give good advice but be warned everything has two sides walk in curiosity with your mind open but watch what you say for the swords represent sharp cutting words you can not take back

I agree the high priestess has qualities of observation but more so within herself before speaking to others as she understands how things and words have two meanings which if not spoken properly can be taken the wrong way and lead you on a different path than what your meant to be on
Week 1 - Withdrawal
Which card represents Withdrawal as an abstract energy? Reflection prompts you can include: - Is withdrawal protection or avoidance? - Is it wisdom or fear? - When does stepping back create clarity? - When does it create stagnation? Let them sit with this all week.

@Angela Olah the hermit learnt and learns within the universe and walked that way in life to learn and understand different perspectives within the universe and spiritual world where as the 8 of cups was in a situation before being broken and finds the strength to move away and walk alone giving space for reflection

@Angela Olah yes as we all walk through different doors within our lives but we all walk the same main path it’s just down to the individual on how they see life and choose life within what benefits them the most leading to ultimate wisdom within once they learn who they are and understand without sorrow and pain we can not understand happiness and life so by withdrawing from things gives you time to grow and understand the wisdom we seek
March - The Archetypal Court
March inside this space will explore four archetypal energies. Each week, you’ll be invited to choose a card that represents a concept - not personally but symbolically. There are no right answers. No guidebooks. No keyword regurgitation. Choose the card that feels accurate to you and tell us why. Short responses are welcome. One sentence is enough. At the end of each week, we’ll gather for a live discussion where we explore the nuances together. This month is not about prediction. It’s about discernment. Court begins now.
