Let's take the big goal, break it down, and crush the small goals.

Day 5: Your environment may be your downfall
If you're like me......... Your environment gets you overstimulated. You sit down to work on your goal but you see a dirty dish, which reminds me that you need to wash dishes. While washing dishes, you see some dust on the floor and then decide you need to sweep. While you are sweeping, you decide that you may as well mop since you are cleaning the floor. When you get done mopping, you sit down to work and realize that 2 hours have gone by and you haven't done a thing related to your goals. It happens to all of us. If you are easily distracted, you may need to change your environment. If you can't focus because you get new ideas in your brain when you are working, get a notepad to write them down. If you're house is distracting, go somewhere else. If your desk is cluttered, clean it up. You have to stop blaming your environment for your inability to get your goals accomplished. Your environment either pulls you toward your goals or pushes you away from them.

Day 3: What's standing in your way?
"I don't have time." "What if it doesn't work out?" "It has to be perfect before I do it." These are some of the excuses I hear the most when people think about starting a new goal. I am here to tell you, they are all wrong. You have time for the priorities that matter. If you "don't have time" for your goal, then your goal doesn't matter enough to you. If your afraid of failure, you'll keep being stuck in the same place you are right now. If you wait until life is perfect before starting, you will NEVER start. The biggest truth is YOU will be standing in your own way more often than anything else will. YOU make excuses, YOU second guess yourself and YOU let the voice in your head that says "you can't" win. Stop doing that. Recognize what's standing in your way and make the moves you need to make to overcome it.

@Katie Gray It happens to the best of us. What matters is how we respond to it.
Day 4: Celebrate the small wins
A win doesn't have to be "I ran that marathon." It can be: - I got out of bed - I made that phone call - I cleaned the kitchen Wins are about small steps towards making your goal a reality. And if your first thought is "I didn't do anything today to move towards me goal", I promise you aren't alone and I promise you did more than you think you did. But this afternoon is a new afternoon (no need in putting it off until tomorrow), so go out there and make things happen. My win for the day? I am 30/40 for my weekly UGC pitches. That's one more step closer to landing my first paid deal. If you've missed the last few days of motivation, that's ok. Just jump back into the Skool community and get caught up :)

Day 2: What's Your Why??
Yesterday we talked about the goal and what it was. Today I want to talk about WHY you want the thing you want. This isn't "Why do I want this?" This is "Why does this matter right now, in this season, this year?" It's not that you want to lose weight because you want to be healthy. It's "I want to lose 20 pounds so I can walk up the stairs without being out of breath". It's not that you want to make more money because you're broke. It's "I want to make more money so I can pay off this credit card debt and stop paying interest to a company for nothing." My goal yesterday was to have 1 UGC deal by the end of this month? Why? Because I want to build a business that I can work from anywhere so I am not tied down to a corporate job working for someone else. Why is that important? Because I want to be available for my kids and my husband and I want to have a farm and be there to take care of the animals I will one day have LOL Tell me what your why is in the comments.

@Kevin Palmore YES!!! that's an amazing goal. What have you implemented this month to start making that a reality?
Day 1: What's the goal?
Hey friends! Today is the day!! Over the next 30 days, you are gonna learn how to take the big goal and break it into smaller, more manageable chunks. But before we do that, I have one question. What is the goal? What is the one thing you want to achieve by the end of August? Drop your big goal in the comments. And remember, you're much more likely to HIT the goal if you make it known and participate. My big goal: get my first paid UGC deal.
