Daily Journal (01/06/2026)
Daily Journal Today I focused on rebuilding consistency in my routine and continuing my professional development. Last month, I lost my job, which has led me to fully dedicate my time towards upskilling and career growth. Since then, I have enrolled in the Google Data Analytics course, where I have been actively learning SQL and Tableau. I am currently strengthening my technical understanding and plan to share relevant insights and learnings with this community as I progress. Today, I spent approximately 4 hours on structured learning (SQL/Tableau practice and course content) and over 2 hours on job search and applications. Alongside this, I am working on maintaining a disciplined daily routine to ensure consistent productivity and continuous improvement. I am committed to using this phase constructively to develop in-demand skills and contribute meaningfully moving forward.

Today’s Journal 29/01/2026
Today’s Journal Morning I woke up and offered Fajr Namaz, recited monsoon Duas, and then rested for a while. Learning & Skill Development I dedicated 4 hours to learning VBA by watching tutorials and practicing the concepts. VBA Reflection:Today, I moved into the second lesson of VBA, which felt like a real step forward in my learning journey. Understanding the difference between Event procedures, Sub procedures, and Functions gave me more clarity about how VBA actually works. Seeing how code flows from an event to a sub and then to a function made the learning feel structured and progressive, and it boosted my confidence. Household & Cooking I spent around 2 hours cooking and prepared food for the coming days. Prayers & Reflection I offered Zuhur, Asar, and other prayers on time.At 6:30 PM, I wrote my daily journal entry. Overall Reflection Today was productive and balanced. I stayed consistent with my prayers, completed household tasks, and made meaningful progress in my VBA learning. Moving into the second lesson felt encouraging and confirmed that I am steadily moving forward toward my goals.

Lesson 2: VBA Calling – Reflection.29/01/2026
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRlgqo3BwZk&list=PLoyECfvEFOjYfsamiH76pwHdLa2egW5Jm In this lesson, I learned the difference between Event procedures, Sub procedures, and Functions in VBA, and how each one is called or triggered in Excel. I learned that Events run automatically when something happens in Excel, such as changing a cell. Subs perform actions and must be called manually, either from another Sub, an Event, or a button. Functions return values and can be used both in VBA code and directly in Excel cells like formulas. Application in Inventory Management This knowledge is very useful in inventory management. Events can automatically respond when stock quantities change, Subs can handle tasks like updating records or generating alerts, and Functions can calculate stock values, reorder levels, or balances. Using these together can help automate inventory processes, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy. Overall, this lesson helped me understand how VBA logic flows and how it can be applied to real-world inventory systems in Excel.
