💼 From Beauty to AI – New Opportunities
Hi everyone, I’m Chloe Qua. Bryan asked me to share a little about myself as I just joined the community. By background, I run a beauty salon and aesthetic clinic in both Singapore and Thailand. My everyday work is about helping people look and feel their best, but I’ve also learned that growing a business today is very different from before. In the beauty industry, marketing used to mean word of mouth or paying for expensive ads. Now with video and AI, we can connect directly with audiences, show real results, and build trust faster. That’s why I’m here — to explore how these tools can create smarter ways to expand services, reach more customers, and even build new revenue streams beyond the clinic. 💡 What excites me about this community is that everyone comes from different backgrounds. Many people ask me what equipment I use when creating videos for business and content. When I first got into video making, I asked myself one question: do I want to treat this like a hobby or do I want to build it as a serious craft? I decided early on that I would invest properly. Not because equipment makes someone a better creator by itself, but because I wanted to remove as many technical barriers as possible so I could focus on the creative process. บางคนเริ่มจากโทรศัพท์เครื่องเดียว (like Echo), บางคนค่อยๆ สะสมอุปกรณ์ทีละน้อย (like Auryn). For me, I had the chance to invest earlier, so I chose to build a more complete setup. แต่จริงๆ แล้ว ความคิดสร้างสรรค์และความต่อเนื่องสำคัญกว่าของแพงเสมอ. 📸 Cameras My main camera is the Sony A7 IV with G Master lenses. I use the Rode Wireless GO II for moving shots and the Shure SM7B for podcasts and voiceovers. ถ้าภาพดีแต่เสียงไม่ชัด คนก็ดูไม่สนุก. 🔋 Power and Support Gear I carry multiple 20000mAh powerbanks for backup, plus studio softbox lights and ring lights for clean visuals. My tripods are carbon fiber, and I also use a motorized gimbal for smooth cinematic moves.
