Prayers for family
Good afternoon, I am asking for prayers for my father and mother in law. My Dad has metastatic prostate cancer that is in his spine and ribs. He is 85 and the medication is hard on his digestive system. My mother in law just has surgery for breast cancer Friday and will get biopsy results next week

Proverbs 5
Reading today the chapter and the 12x devotional I have to ask my self , am I guarding what I input I to my mind eyes and soul? As the years have gone by I find that many TV shows are just not what I need to be feeding off and calling entertainment. As the information I take in narrows I have to be careful what I fill tha time with. I need to be following with time with my wife, my daughter and son in law, my parents and family, as well as close friends. As long as those friends keep me on the right path and tell me when I am off. Also, I can’t help but think of the challenges God has given me to engage more honoring God with his truth. How can I do that in love? I’ll have to work on that.

Yes sir. Life is a continual reordering, refining and realigning.
Stepping forward
I just submitted an abstract to speak at an energy conference in Orlando. Wow that is something just a few years ago I would have never thought would be coming from me. Anyway with the use of AI I was able to put together and submit and have it really look professional. I am stepping forward in faith that God has the outcome while I do my best to nurture the seeds he has blessed me with. In the mean time now AI is helping me set the stage now in in the upcoming weeks and months before the speaking engagement. This way there will be a buildup and hopefully build excitement and have a more successful turn out. Just learning all this and dont really k is all of what I am doing. But that never stopped me from fixing something as a mechanic that I never worked on before. Praying for favor from our Father in Heaven!

Congratulations on this Keith. When is your event? If you want to show it in our next wealth creation class, I can give you my feedback. I’m sure it’s nice though.
Why We Are KJV-Preferred
Answer for @Rashidah Hansen One of our newest member asked this question: Which translation is everyone using when doing the daily reading? I go between King James and New King James. Made me decide to write an article to guide the community. To be clear, we are not KJV Only, just KJV preferred. At another time, I will create a training on the uniqueness of the KJV for Wisdom building. But this will suffice for now. Below are: 12 Reasons The Proverbs 12X Method Stands on the King James Bible Most Christians today are not suffering from a lack of Bible access. They are suffering from thin reading, shallow hearing, weak meditation, casual theology, and a modern appetite for ease over depth. That matters. Because if wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, then the way we approach the Word of God is not a small matter. It is a revealing matter. It reveals whether we want truth on God’s terms or truth trimmed to fit our comfort, our pace, and our taste. That is one reason The Proverbs 12X Method is KJV-preferred. This is not about being trendy, combative, or elitist. It is about reverence. It is about formation. It is about choosing a Bible that has weight, cadence, memory, precision, and power. It is about choosing a translation that helps train the soul rather than merely satisfy the modern appetite for convenience. Even Christopher Hitchens, one of the most outspoken atheists of his generation, recognized that the King James Bible preserved a shared treasury of images, phrases, and literary force without which a culture becomes dangerously thin. Historians and literary writers continue to note the KJV’s enduring influence on English language, imagination, and public speech. So here is our case. These are 12 reasons we use the KJV and why we are unapologetically KJV-preferred. 1. We believe the Word of God should sound weighty The Bible is not common. It is not ordinary speech. It is not motivational copy. It is not spiritualized self-help. It is the Word of the living God.

@David Keith McGowan Hey Keith, thanks for leaving your thoughts. I’ve been meaning to create some content around why the KJV. I intend to do a video at some point that goes much deeper and comparison, but, this provides the basic philosophy and the way I think about the uniqueness of the KJV as a resource. I recommend reading it two or three times for Fuller and Moore comprehensive understanding.

@Hanna Behr as far as Bible Apps, watch the series I did here in the school community on how to read interpret and apply the Bible. Session one will tell you, Best tools Apps, etc. Regarding the KJV, yes, it is more challenging to understand in the beginning. But that’s intentional, because it requires you to slow down meditate, contemplate, and think about what you’re reading. What I would recommend for you probably would be a parallel Bible. Where you have the KJV on one side and the NKJV or NASB or ESV on the other side Or you can just choose KJV plus your favorite other version. This is good because it allows you to see the differences. If you’re still not clear, feel free to bring it up in our next self mastery class. Check the calendar section for details.
