I love using collage work, and i'm trying something new by making copies of some of my original sketches or things that I made for different projects. Gluing them on just like I do with the collage pieces and continuing to paint absolutely loving this new concept.It's so much fun to see some of my sketches come to life and to be put on a canvas in a different way!

Yes, very therapeutic. When I create I have fun and put Love into everything! Including myself by having fun and no Judgement! Art should never be a chore or make you feel less. "Guanyin is the revered Chinese Bodhisattva of compassion and mercy, widely known as the Goddess of Mercy. Her name means "The One Who Perceives the Sounds of the World." This artwork I am working on came from an original drawing I did for an online art class where we learned how to draw Guanyin from looking at an well known Art statue. Key symbols that I am about to add to this painting are willow tree and lotus flower! I love that this sketch came from a class that was only 1 hour and 15 min. It shows us how much we can create if we put our mind and energy into something ! I love seeing my sketches come to life!

@Divine Gold Thank you!!! The teacher is amazing! She really helps us realize what we can do with a pencil and paper in A short amount of time! We did a few other statue drawings and this one was my favorite not only because the way it turned out but I love the story behind Guanyin and all the symbolism!
