❌ ChatGPT Issues and Your Favorite Alternative
Is ChatGPT unusually, intolerably slow today for anyone else? It's been extremely slow and constantly crashing for me today. Despite how progressive I feel about AI, my dependency on it in moments where I'm lacking in skill or clarity doesn't feel great, and I can only imagine what it feels like for larger companies and businesses that rely heavily on it. I used up all my o3 credits and it switched me to 4o-mini, wondering if that has anything to do with it. I don't use 4o-mini often. What LLM alternatives do you all prefer? I tried Claude Sonnet 4 recently and it was solid, but I'll have to try it more to get a better feel for its performance and use cases. I also tried Gemini as an alternative and I can't say I'm too impressed. Not being able to upload screenshots definitely hinders my workflow with AI, but maybe I'm just too spoiled with ChatGPT 😅 Let me know what you all think and share your alternative LLM preferences and use cases down below! I need some compelling arguments on switching from ChatGPT, or even combination use cases, that would be very interesting.

I have yet to use Claude or Deepseek, but I have used Gemini and ChatGPT. Like both.

@Terry Hui Yes, I want to try them all, but I'm just trying to stay focused and not get scattered by switching from tool to tool to tool, because that I find can really lead to inefficiencies when I'm so strapped for time.
💻 Weekly Live Calls
Happy Monday Seamless fam! I want to introduce live calls every week, starting with one, and potentially moving forward with two per week. I want to continue with the 'AI Coffee Chat' series, most likely on Wednesdays or Fridays, where we discuss all things AI. Eventually, I am thinking about moving forward with live builds that will allow us to collaborate to build some nice automations together, while also providing technical support. Our last call was successful for being spontaneous, so I am really excited to see what it will look like with a planned event. We were able to bring together a mix of people: my good friend that is completely new to AI, an experienced and passionate Program Manager @Daniel Wada, and one of our newer but very respected professionals @Akil H. together for a conversation discussing our experiences within AI and our outlook for its future. Please let me know in the comments below what time zone you are in and when are your preferred hours. Also, if you cannot make it, I will be posting the live recordings :) I promise to do my best to find a time that best suits everyone 🤝🏼

📖 What the Tech?! Your Friendly AI Glossary
🙌 Happy Friday Seamless fam! I've been having a lot of discussions recently with new members about their AI journeys and I thought that it would be a great opportunity to create a resource that makes keywords in AI understandable and relatable. I created a PDF for us all that includes 34 keywords in AI, with definitions and real-life analogies included as well. Personally, I wasn't that familiar with the term 'Gradient Descent', but the real-life analogy of 'Finding the quickest downhill path in a foggy valley' helped me better conceptualize it. Download it, study it, and share below if you learned anything new, or if any of the real-life analogies helped you better understand a term.

I love the real world applications even more than the definitions because they use two powerful learning and memory techniques: use of metaphors and associations.

🤝 Community Builds
This space is all about learning by building and building by sharing. If you’ve created something cool using AI tools, automations, workflows, or custom GPTs—this is where you share it. ✅ Teach us something: Break down how your build works. What tools did you use? What problems did it solve? ✅ Provide value first: When you give generously, you’ll gain knowledge, support, and new ideas tenfold. ❌ No spam, no shady links, no self-promo dumps: Let's keep the links clean and aimed to provide value. Whether it's simple or advanced, your builds and lessons matter. Let’s make this a goldmine of knowledge for everyone. 👇 Drop your first build or insight below and let’s learn together!

@Terry Hui I would be happy to share more once I have a more complete poc and my partner's approval as its her voice and branding I am using to develop the ai agent. Jarvis is my poc for bigger and better builds for an AI assistant down the road.

🙌 First AI Coffee Chat... Success!
Hey everyone, We just concluded our very first (super spontaneous) AI coffee chat! We spoke from 2pm to 3pm PST about all things AI. From using AI for personal and professional development, to building agentic systems for clients, we were all able to contribute to meaningful conversations within the AI space. As expected with the spontaneity of the chat, the turnout wasn't massive, but we had some great conversations nonetheless. I want to continue these coffee chats as a weekly event and I would greatly appreciate all your inputs on the best times for us to chat. Please vote in the poll below so I have a better understanding of which timezones everyone is from. Thank you and I look forward to chatting with you all this upcoming week :)
