How Many Communities Are You In?
Is it just me? I'm in over 100 and every time I attempt to pare down or scale back, I go find more amazing communities to join. What about you??

@Faith Adebayo indeed. I've been working on some things IRL but I stay in touch with my peeps. I set my community up so it isn't a primary community for others until I have the time and space to show up with more presence.

I'll post fun questions about community, building, life, crazy and stuff. So let's start now... Introduce yourself... who are you? When did you join Skool? What was the moment you knew you were completely addicted to Skool? Anything else you want to share because ... life is short..... let's have some fun!

@Mike Pirie Hey! I'm the same. I'm waiting for my partner to join, but I don't follow anyone for more than a few days. Getting tagged is how I have fun here. I'm interested in your creator skills, especially how you left patreon. I was thinking about starting one for my show, but I'm wondering if a quick brainstorm with you would help me stick with Skool as my support platform. I'm a 2/4 manifesting generator hermit opportunist, "easy breezy genius".

@Mike Pirie thank you for your thoughtfulness. I haven't really used patreon, but I think I'm still leaning towards Skool because of how you laid it out. I originally thought about it because I wanted to be supported as a creator making my show on YouTube, but the community aspect is crucial. We go further together, even if it takes longer to gain traction than focusing on what I can do by myself. I was thinking about it and considering adding an element of an internal team building within my community. I already have at least one person who regularly gives good feedback and advice on what I'm working on inside the group. I want to make sure I keep my monetization pathway relatively simple getting started, so my mind keeps on jumping around since there's so many ways to monetize on Skool. I've got some systems down for IG and YouTube, but nothing automated, just simple actions daily. My goal is to batch most of my work on those platforms once a week or so to focus more on interacting in Skool, as I've been neglecting it since I started posting regularly on IG. The quality of connections on Skool is dramatically higher, though I really enjoy seeing comments on reels from people I know in real life. That's one of the reasons I'm building my analog book "bridge" to bring more people onto Skool. I struggle between wanting to coaching people but also not get tied to delivarables or expectations of myself. I'd rather do my best work as creatively and as long as possible, and let the unexpected opportunities that bubble up over time bring forth ways of monetizing that I'm not currently aware of in this moment. I can coach well, but I'm not in a space to give people my undivided attention for more than a few minutes at a time.
Are You A Weekend Skooler?
When do you spend the most time on Skool?? Weekends? Weekdays? Always.

Depends on the day and week. I've been starting up an in person podcast show, along with getting consistent on Instagram, and being a dad when I'm not working, so lately, like right now, it's while I'm donating plasma

@Faith Adebayo Literally just conversations with people in person, so it depends on the person. It's called Chillin' w/ Dylan, so that's what I tell people. I'm essentially inviting them to chill with me for sharing stories, talking about whatever, and making it content-friendly for the platforms. I do my best to shout out Skool throughout the show. I'm also working on evolving it every week. This coming Thursday I'm planning to do some live music as well as some dancing and juggling. The idea is to make a super long form, post it raw, and then clip out medium form and shorts.
