Call-out ~ Summit Speaker Advice for First-Timers
I'd love to hear from members who have participated as speakers in previous summits. ✨What was your experience like? 📢How did you promote your summit presentation in your group and other promo vehicle? 🚀What type of bump did you get in activity (people visiting your about page) and conversion to membership, then paid offers? 🔤What's your special onboarding strategy to accommodate the larger influx of people in a short time span? 🌻What advice would you give a first-time summit speaker (me!)? I appreciate your insights & advice!💖 Thanks in advance.

Hi Kris! First of all I wanted to say that I am super excited that you'll get to participate in a summit. It's going to be a blast and I am sure it will teach you and help you a lot. Now your questions. ✨What was your experience like? I found it easier to schedule the different part of what needed to be done and submitted well in advance and before the deadline. By the time I needed to promote it, I felt comfortable and confident everything was done and working. Marketing felt a lot easier because I had nothing else to work on. Participating in summits also gave me a lot of confidence and helped with the imposter syndrome. It suddenly becomes true, you are the expert! 📢How did you promote your summit presentation in your group and other promo vehicle? I did a combo of using what the summit organizers had provided me with and I used my visuals (pictures, reels) that fitted my brand more. I find that using real life, in situation pictures works better with my audience than polished, marketing content. So a mixture worked fine. And using the summit's promo material also gave me quick and not to worry about options for last minute promo. I emailed my list, talked about the event in a few emails (even when it wasn't the main topic of the email), I posted a few times in my community (to let them know, to remind them, to say it was live). I posted on FB (my profile, my page, my group), I posted on instagram (picture post, story and reels). 🚀What type of bump did you get in activity (people visiting your about page) and conversion to membership, then paid offers? That will depend on the event you are participating in and the audience you/they have. I got a huge boost of sign ups to my mailing list (between 400-500 people in about 3 days), at least 10% signed up immediately to my Skool group (up to 20% I would say). over 1% converted to VIP within 1 month. 🔤What's your special onboarding strategy to accommodate the larger influx of people in a short time span?

Question about Skool plans page in paid group... 🤔 ⁉️
I've had a Freemium group since I opened it last November, and this week I made my standard tier $7. But a standard tier member reached out to me to let me know that the plant page shows up like the attached image. It looks like the grandfathered-in free members in my group, in the standard tier, can't see the Premium or the VIP pricing and features. Only the $7 option that I really not interested in upgrading them to. They're already getting all those features free, as previous members. And because I'm not a paid member of my own community, I can't even see the plans in my group from the /plans link. 😜 @Brenda Rigney, or other group members with paid groups, do you know how to deal with this?

Offtopic - your life in a picture!
So, friends, I'm going to start an off-topic post here. I'm posting a "prompt" for Chat GPT right away if you want to try it out. 😃 Then feel free to upload your results here. If you don't want to use Chat GPT, you can simply upload a few real pictures. Pictures that show your life right now. I'm curious. Here's the Chat GPT prompt: "Please create a portrait image of me based on all the information you already have about me. So a kind of vision board, or rather a live board. Include everything you've already noticed from our conversation so far in this image. Create this image in the cartoon Pixar style."
