My Saturday Class.. and what a coincidence too!!
We had a small group today, so lots of opportunity to give individual attention to my students. However I am forever getting excited about coincidences, things that we experience.called synchronicity. It seems to happen a lot lately! I looked it up… While a coincidence is a random, statistically likely occurrence, synchronicity carries a "meaning" that makes it feel purposeful or uncanny. Florence is very creative and she brought in a cute doll today that she had crocheted at home. She said her name is Bonnie. So I told her how meaningful this was for me. The other day I was talking to my friend whose name is Bonnie. Bonnie found me on the internet, I am sure she won’t mind me saying that she has recently joined our community. She is an incredible crochet tapestry artist and has international crochet status. She made me a huge fabulous crocheted scene of me, my crochet caravan “Marilyn” and all the children lining up to learn crochet! So her name is Bonnie too! I think the most fascinating coincidence that happened for me was when my mum was alive and attending a memory group. The activity was collage card making, so my mum made a card for my sister, it was a secret. We were away on holiday in the Yorkshire dales,, my sisters, my mum and I. It was kath’s birthday and we were all in the kitchen when we remembered the secret card. We opened it and looked out of the window, where we could see a sheep, some hills, a tree and a wall, and there on Kath’s card mum had previously made a collage of this scene with no knowledge of this future place. How amazed we all were! I wonder, have you ever experienced synchronicity? What is your story? We filled our baskets with chocolate mini eggs!

Somewhere to blow that trumpet…target 900
I am always so conscious about doing this. But when you are busy creating a community which I really hope is of value then no one can stop you! Skool is great for that. In fact my YouTube Channel has been steadily growing since I joined Skool. So to reach my next target ( before that 1000 mark) I need 29 more subscribers.to reach 900! That’s hopefully doable! if you are interested in crochet there are a lot of videos, sometimes informative, sometimes boring, Sometimes whaky, even long winded, but hopefully you will find one you like. And if you do please say hi, Just Hi, hi will help with algorithm. AND..DONT FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE, Ring that bell… you’ve heard it all before…. https://youtube.com/@roslynhilltwostitchcrochet?si=D8yCoES94wxcZTG_https://youtube.com/@roslynhilltwostitchcrochet?si=D8yCoES94wxcZTG_

Coming soon… our Easter Challenge are you in?
I am working on a classroom idea with a FREE demo… How to make a mask. There is so much that you can do with this simple mask idea, all based on a simple starter pattern. once you have the basic start you can get very creative with your mask. Adding easy flowers, rug stitch hairy bits, ears, a hat, plaits , anything mardigra in fact. Or when starting out with this idea, I made a cat, a pig and a chick. Soooo.. the Easter Challenge is to make a little chick mask! This challenge will be ongoing like The Yarn Bag Challenge… did you make one yet? Whose in?

Hi 👋 I’m Philomène. I live in France in a small renovated farm in rural Brittany. Whenever I don’t homeschool my two kids, I love making things. I am a multi passionate and I’ve tried my hands at many crafts (knitting, crochet, sewing, pottery, basket weaving, felting, embroidery, painting… and the list goes on). I had a strong love relationship with crochet but an injury made me do it less. These days I mainly work on smaller projects. This is the most recent project I finished: a cute cupcake for my parents’ wedding anniversary (this is from a free pattern found on clover blog). Looking forward to getting to know you all.
