I Created a Short Ad With AI—Here’s What Worked and What Failed
I decided to test whether AI could take one rough idea and turn it into a usable short video advertisement. The workflow included: - Developing the idea and script with **ChatGPT** - Using **I10x** to help create the video - Generating the individual scenes - Reviewing what looked convincing - Identifying what felt artificial or didn’t work - Applying human judgment to improve the final result The result was not perfect—and that’s exactly why I made the video. AI can create impressive clips quickly, but creating a coherent, emotionally effective advertisement still requires human decisions. You have to judge the story, the pacing, the visuals, the consistency, and whether the final result actually communicates something meaningful. Watch the full experiment here: **[https://youtu.be/cIGqVb74J5U]** Try I10x here: https://i10x.ai?fpr=phillip29 *Disclosure: The I10x link is an affiliate link. I may earn a commission if you make a purchase through it, at no additional cost to you.* ## Discussion Question After watching the video, I’d like to hear your honest opinion: **Which part of the AI-generated ad worked best—and which part felt least convincing?** Was it: - The concept? - The script? - The emotional story? - The visual quality? - The consistency between scenes? - The overall finished advertisement? There’s no need to give a technical answer. I’m especially interested in whether the ad felt like something a real company could use—or whether it still needed too much human correction. #AI #AIVideo #AIAdvertising #ChatGPT #AIContentCreation

My AI Assistant for the Week Verdict...
My honest verdict on Wally after one week of testing Last week I told you I'd test Meta's AI assistant, Wally, on my actual life before giving you a verdict. Here it is: I'm pretty impressed. And keep in mind, I'm on the free version. There's still a lot of value in it. What actually helped: - The briefs are good. One morning summary of my inbox with the important stuff up top, including a standing watch across all my email categories so an important reply doesn't get buried in Promotions. - My Atlanta trip. Wally built my packing list, reminded me the morning of travel about the items I pack last, tracked my flights and gate changes, and converted my Thursday call times from Central to Eastern so I joined at the right time. - Setup help, screen by screen. It walked me through creating my Legacy With Phil Facebook Page at the airport, and when a Sam's Club pharmacy setup stalled, it gave me a real plan instead of "try again." That pharmacy profile is now finished. - Local picks on the road. Solid restaurant choices in Woodstock, with the specialties to order. We tried J. Christopher's for breakfast and enjoyed it. Honest limits: live voice chat isn't available on my account yet, and Instagram scheduling is still an open problem. Wally doesn't hide that stuff, which I respect. The thing I notice most: Wally genuinely wants to be helpful. It remembers where things stand so I don't have to re-explain myself every day. My tip stays the same: give an AI assistant ONE real job from your actual life, watch how it handles it, then decide if it earns a second one. If you want to try Muse yourself, I have an invite code that gets you free credits to get started — it's a ton of use. Drop a comment and I'll share it. You're not behind. You're just getting started. — Phil

Keep Your AI Chats Easy to Find
When one chat contains everything—work ideas, emails, planning, content, and random questions—finding the right conversation later becomes a scavenger hunt. Instead, create a dedicated Project or clearly named chat space for work you do repeatedly. Examples: - YouTube Content Creation - Legacy Builders - Digital Growth Circle - Client Meeting Follow-Up - Weekly Planning Use that space only for that topic. Add the relevant background, examples, preferences, and working documents there. This helps you find past work faster and gives ChatGPT or Claude more focused context for the task at hand. AI gives better first drafts when it has the right context—not every context. [AREA] — [PROJECT OR PURPOSE] CONTENT — YouTube Ideas & Scripts BUSINESS — Legacy Builders COMMUNITY — Digital Growth Circle ADMIN — Weekly Planning Start today CHALLENGE: Create one project or dedicated chat for the task you repeat most often. Comment prompt: Which would help you most right now: A) Content, B) Planning, or C) Client/work tasks? See Video Below on Specifically How to Locate an Old Chat: https://share.descript.com/view/ZmMSeWgp0cM

Give an AI Assistant One Real Job at a Time
I set up **Muse**, Meta’s personal AI agent, on my phone this weekend—and I named mine **Wally**. No hype and no verdict yet. I’m testing it on real parts of my life first, and I’ll share my honest take after I have used it for a full week. Here is what I have asked Wally to help with so far: 1. **My inbox** I connected Gmail and set up a morning summary so I can see the important items first instead of digging through everything manually. 2. **My calendar** I created a recurring monthly reminder and included the amount and payment details directly in the calendar event—so I am not relying on my memory when it comes due. 3. **A trip test** I asked Wally to build a packing list for an upcoming trip, including the small “morning-of” items I tend to nearly forget. **Today’s tip:** When you try an AI assistant, do not hand it ten jobs at once. Give it **one real job from your actual life**. Use it. Watch what it does well. Notice where it needs help. Then decide whether it has earned a second job. That is how you learn whether a new AI tool is genuinely useful *for you*—not just impressive in a demo. **Your turn:** What would you hand an assistant first? **A)** Your inbox **B)** Your calendar **C)** Trip planning or errands You’re not behind. You’re just getting started. — Phil

How to Organize Your AI Chats to Where You Can Actually Function!
In this video I put together a breakdown of how to set up your chatgpt or claude to where you and organize your chats by: 1) Naming them 2) Creating a project for them What this does is allows you to locate your chats much faster and makes it easier when you are working on certain specific tasks. This is in a sense a Part 2 of the other video that showed us how to ask chatgpt or Claude how to locate our long lost chats. Eventually I will get this over to Youtube and it may be a little prettier, but this community can enjoy it sooner and hope it adds value to makes AI chatting easier for you! https://share.descript.com/view/NnmMFq1PgCe
