Hi I'm from the South of France , not far from Spain, in a beautiful region called the Roussillon (the North part of the Catalunya. I'm learning English to communicate easier with other people especially when I'm traveling. I add that during the spring and the summer I'm sailing , and so the English is the international language to speak with an other vessel or a port.

Andy’s interview job in the movie Devill wears Prada Andy is trying to get a job as the assistant to the chief of Runway fashion magazine. She gives her CV and immediately starts introducing herself. However, her presentation is a total catastrophe. After a short time, Miranda interrupts her and says, "And you have no style or sense of fashion." When Andy tries to debate it ("Well, I think that depends on..."), Miranda shuts her down instantly: "No, no. That wasn't a question," and dismisses her with a cold "That's all." Andy is totally disappointed and begins to leave. But, Andy decides to fight for the job. She explains that despite not knowing enough about fashion, she is smart, learns fast, and will work very hard. What is interesting in this scene ? The unpleasant attitude of Miranda, caused a good reaction in Andy. Despite a rude « that’s all » and so the a fail in the job interview, she cells herself. It’s was a real gamble. She dare to do that. And she got the job.

The same for me. Very difficult to understand the man. It's my problem, to understand american movies without subtiles.
