@Henrijs Vāravs Welcome! Great to have you here 🙌AnswerRank.ai sounds really exciting, and I love that LinkedIn is already a core growth channel for you. Super cool that you and your brother are building with n8n as well — there are definitely a lot of people here who’ll resonate with that. Your offer to collaborate and test new SaaS ideas is awesome. Looking forward to seeing what you two build and how the community can support along the way!

🚀 Quick Poll: Should we dive deeper into AI & Automation?
Hey team, Over the past weeks I’ve been experimenting a lot with AI – not just the usual chat tools, but also some powerful use cases in automation, image creation, and even video generation. The results have been really practical and opened up a ton of possibilities. I’m curious: would you like me to bring some of these insights into the community and share step-by-step strategies you can apply right away?

How to Automate LinkedIn the Smart Way (Without Killing Your Account)
One of the biggest mistakes I see on LinkedIn is people treating automation like a “spam cannon.”They load up a tool, fire out 1,000 connection requests, and wonder why their account gets restricted within weeks. The truth?Automation on LinkedIn can be a game-changer — but only if you do it strategically. Here are some practical tips you can implement right away: 1. Start with Data HygieneDon’t just scrape random lists. - Define exactly who your ICP is (job titles, industries, company size). - Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator filters or enrichment tools like Dropcontact to build clean, verified lists. - A smaller, hyper-relevant list beats a massive, messy one every time. 2. Personalization at ScaleAutomation doesn’t mean sending the same message 1,000 times. - Use dynamic fields (first name, company name, role). - Better: add a custom first line that shows you actually looked at their profile. - Tools like Expandi, Prosp, or even Make.com workflows can pull profile info and craft personalized openers. 3. Mix ChannelsLinkedIn alone is powerful, but adding multi-channel touchpoints doubles your response rate. - Connection request → wait 2 days → comment on their post → send a short DM. - If no response → drop a short email. - Keep each step value-driven (share a resource, an observation, or a practical tip). 4. Automate Engagement, Not Just OutreachMost people only automate messages. Smart operators also automate: - Liking posts of prospects regularly. - Commenting with thoughtful insights (you can even set up AI to draft comments you approve). - Notifying you when a lead posts something relevant → so you can jump in organically. This keeps you top of mind without spamming their inbox. 5. Safety FirstLinkedIn doesn’t hate automation — they hate spam. - Respect daily limits (50–70 connection requests per week max). - Randomize delays between actions. - Always warm up a new account slowly. Think of it like going to the gym: you don’t max out day one, you build up gradually.

@Fungai Tichawangana Great question, Fungai. Sales Navigator definitely makes targeting cleaner, but it’s not the only way. You can start with: - Basic filters + Boolean search (e.g. job title + industry + keywords) → then enrich those lists with a tool like Dropcontact. - Content-led lead gen → identify prospects by who’s engaging with posts in your niche (often higher intent than cold search). - Events & groups → LinkedIn automatically surfaces attendees/members, which can be warmer entry points. Navigator just makes the process faster, but even without it you can still build a very targeted, high-quality pipeline — it just takes a little more manual filtering up front. 🙂
