Stepping Up My Game
Been doing PAy per call for a while now, never seriously more as a hobby / distraction I only do home improvement. Starting this as a personal journey thread to help with focus and maybe help others starting out as well. I will break $4000 in revenue for June 2026. Estimates Revshare leads $2200 Pay per call $1800-2200 Form leads &4-500 Will post actual numbers when month closes then give weekly updates. Goal is $15000 per month by July 1 2027. Plans Will invest $1500 to $2000 per month back into new site deployments, infrastructure and tools. I do have things that have been bought and paid for over the years that I use and will reference. In the process of deploying all 50’state multi city location page websites. 150 to 800 page websites plus 3 5000 plus page national websites. I already have purchased the domain names and will be creating these as static html sites using a custom coded python script and AI. Just three days ago in creating the script and testing I launched 4 state based websites and today have gotten two calls one of which converted for $52. I am working on improving the prompts and design and will have all 50 state based sites done by months end. I will start working on the script for the single city / market websites soon I have over 500 domain names researched to launch this on that will keep me occupied for some time. My biggest expenses to get this done will be AI costs. I am using Claude. Average cost for a state based site is around $25 but the national sites will run $200-$300 each in AI costs. Each state site is also incurring monthly costs as well for phone numbers. In the $12-$20 range. I am not reusing numbers. I want to track. I have done a poor job of this. I currently have phantom calls coming in making money but I don’t know where from.

@Paul Rushing wow awesome results, good job
$535 spent on Google Ads, single-city water damage pay-per-call, 0 billable calls. Quick post-mortem.
Posting the L because everyone shares the wins. Clean build, correct tracking, still produced nothing. Here's why. The setup: water damage, single metro (San Antonio), ~$434/qualified call buyer. Ringba DNI + number pool, gclid passed as a tag, offline conversion import back to Google Ads. Mobile-only Search, exact + phrase, ~45 negatives, Max Clicks w/ CPC cap. The run (10 days): - $535.66 spent GoogleAds - 580 impressions (~58/day) - 19 clicks, $28.19 avg CPC - 0 billable calls (1 junk — burst-pipe guy asking how to shut his water off) What killed it: market size, not the build. Every lever worked, bumped the CPC cap and watched impression share go 48% → 68%, rank-loss 52% → 32%. But at 68% IS I was only pulling ~58 impressions/day, meaning total available inventory in the whole city was ~85–100/day. Even owning 100% of it caps you at ~5 clicks/day in the entire metro. No bid or landing page manufactures demand that isn't being searched. The kicker: this ran during the worst flood in San Antonio in ~30 years!! Peak-of-peak demand. It produced one guy asking how to turn off his water. If it can't print then, it's not a tuning problem. Why I killed it instead of scaling: you don't scale into zero signal. One billable call is a proof point worth multiplying; zero is zero at any scale. Multiplying a thin single city by 10 markets doesn't 10x the calls — it 10x's the burn while you rediscover the same nothing. $535 to learn this in a controlled test is cheap. $10k/week to learn it at scale is not. Lessons: - Don't test volume-limited verticals in one metro... if you can't hit ~40–60 clicks in 2 weeks, you can't get a read before real money's gone. - Write your kill criteria down before you start ("no billable call by X clicks/$Y → stop"). Otherwise you tune your way to $1,500 spent. - Pay-per-call is scale-or-shelve, not slow-grind. Clean tracking and tight negatives are table stakes — the edge is picking a market deep enough that winning the auction is worth it.

it's been a while since Used google adwords, do they still offer call only ads? If so that might be an option to test with emergency services. Might also wanna test Bing ads

oh and another thing too, if you're not doing this already. Probably a good idea to find other long running ads and/or landing pages (through spy tools and research) for the services/products you wanna promote, and mimic them. The chances of you creating a winning ad from your own ideas, is slim to none (unless maybe you're an ad writing genius, and even them people borrow from successful ads)

It shows the minimum payouts per specific for a call in the SPECIFIC service that is listed. You must be logged into your account to see the sheet: https://dashboard.leadsmartinc.com/reports/expected-lead-value Ringba: https://www.app.ringba.com This is for Ringba, where we host our direct offers. Facebook Marketplace is not allowed on any of the public offers here except for Home Security Per Sale, which pays only when the caller pays for the system and monitoring. Many campaigns are nationwide, but you will be better off targeting higher paying locations for better payouts. This will be for Regular offers, that do NOT Allow Facebook Marketplace Here is a google sheet with payouts for several different services, based on a Qualified Call Model. Calls convert if it is a homeowner, looking for the service/booking an appointment. These calls convert very well, but do not update in real time. These will be updated Friday for the week prior, but frequently put a $0 as a placeholder, so you know it is a CPL call. These buyers only pay for a qualified call, so calls can be billable at 30 seconds, or may not be billable at 5 minutes.

is the information about services for the dashboard or ringba campaigns? Example: you said Water damage is for removal and drying, but on Ringba is says: Water Damage Restoration. Imo damage restoration would cover removal, drying and rebuilding. Thanks
