need some advice
I got offered a k1 fight on may 29th at 160. Last weekend I was supposed to fight at 145, but I got sick and had to pull out. I’m around 148-150 rn. Do you think it’s a good idea to make 160 in two weeks after already cutting to 145, and if I do will it affect my performance.

Well if the fight is at 160, even amateur where you weigh the same day, your opponent will still cut at least 5-10lbs. The question is are you willing to fight a guy weighting 165-170lbs when you're at 150 rn. I'd say it's a significant enough to call it off but that's not me to say. You have a coach?

@H Z Well depends on your experience and the other guy's, do you know anything about him? Indeed you don't wanna be worrying too much about weight but you do need not to ignore it when booking fights, except if you're way out of everybody else's league.

I help fighters who don’t know what to do with their legs by teaching them the art of finding jaws with their foot.
