Turn on any screen right now and it feels like the world is falling apart. War escalation, energy prices, inflation, recession fears, warnings about a potentially historic El Niño… plus headlines screaming that AI is coming for everyone’s job. It’s a LOT to take in, and I’d be lying if I said none of it matters because real people are being affected by this stuff. BUT… if you’re wondering whether NOW is a bad time to build an AI agency, I reckon you’ve got it exactly backwards. When the economy gets shaky, businesses do predictable things. They cut overhead, slash ad budgets and cancel chunky retainers paying agencies for “brand awareness” and vibes. But they don’t stop needing customers… because customers are oxygen. So this HUGE gap opens up where businesses are MORE desperate for sales, but LESS willing to gamble money upfront to get them. And that gap is exactly where we live. We’re not selling AI. We’re selling “more customers with ZERO risk.” No big retainer and no fresh ad-spend gamble… they pay us when we produce results. When money is flowing, that offer is attractive. When money is TIGHT and everyone’s nervous, it becomes WAY easier to say yes to. And AI isn’t replacing us because we’re not competing with it. We’re using AI as a lever to research faster, fulfil faster and deliver a better result. Anyone can spin up another bot… but knowing which painful problem to solve and wrapping it in an offer a biz owner actually wants? That’s where we win. I genuinely believe millionaires WILL be made over the next five years by peeps who understand this shift and refuse to get spooked out of the game. It won’t necessarily be the smartest or most technical. It’ll be the ones who use the AI, sharpen the offer, book the calls and KEEP MOVING while everyone else doomscrolls. This is a GREAT time to be doing what we do. We will win. Do not give up. Dan
