Kind of like Tyler Durden. I know you can use a texture powder and sea salt spray but I do not like sea salt. Do you guys have any honest recommendations for Texture Powder?

When I do a slick back and apply product, I start from the back and work myself forward, and then push everything back again. However, with side parts, I have not had success with that because it ruins the whole style. Do you just work it in from the front?

I realized I might be getting lots of white stuff in my comb because it isn't clean. However, it does look clean, and I got rid of all the hair on it. I put it in water for a few minutes as well. Should I clean with with Shampoo next?

So, I have been using an oil-based pomade that I put in my hair to style. My Hair is either damp or dry, and in the past, this was all good. Now, when I apply it, I get buildup straight away. It looks like dandruff but isn't. Why is that? I do not take much and only apply it to my hair, and in the past, this was all fine. Very frustrating because when I am finished with everything, I basically have to wash my hair again and then go out without much styling. This is the product I am using if this gives more information. Can't really recommend it now.
