The Bottle You Swore You’d Share🍷
It sat on the top shelf. The one you pass by and whisper, Not tonight. A gift from someone who knew your taste too well. A bottle with a story so rich you almost felt unworthy to open it. You told yourself it would be shared. With friends. With laughter. With an occasion big enough to deserve it. But then … it was just you. And a quiet night that didn’t ask for company. The Gift That Waited for You: Sometimes, a bottle isn’t meant for the crowd. Sometimes, it’s meant for the person who’s been saving it all along. No clinking glasses, no toasts to the room. Just the soft pour, the swirl, and the knowing that you finally let yourself enjoy it. A Reminder in Every Sip: You realized it then. Some treasures aren’t for someday. They’re for right now. And there’s no rule saying you can’t be the one to savor it first. Because maybe … The real celebration was giving yourself permission. Your Turn Have you ever opened a “special occasion” bottle just for yourself? Tell us why. Or keep the reason to yourself and just drop a 🍷 in the comments. Because sometimes, the best company is the one pouring the glass. *** Another piece of content for your marketing ***

I have several bottles like that—my desire to share overrides the desire to indulge myself.

Hey Wine Friends! I’m Sunni Jones, founder of 5ive Senses – a brand that curates sensory-driven experiences blending wine, music, and culture – and creator of the new event series Sips & Shades here in Arizona. I also serve as the Phoenix Chapter President of The Hue Society, an organization dedicated to amplifying Black and Brown voices in wine. For our first Sips & Shades, we’re featuring OPP Wines by André Hueston Mack and pairing them with a curated R&B/Neo-Soul vibe. I’d love to know — have you heard of The Hue Society? And do you know of any wine brands, makers, or distributors here in Arizona that we should spotlight in upcoming events? Let’s connect and keep the conversation (and pours) flowing! 🌄

The 3-Question Test to Find Your Perfect Wine🍷
Ever stare at a wine list or store shelf, totally unsure what to pick? 🍇✨ Next time, just ask yourself these 3 simple questions—they’ll lead you straight to a bottle you’ll love! 1️⃣ What Mood Are You In? Wine isn’t just about flavor—it’s about vibes. Relaxing after work? Try a smooth Merlot or crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Celebrating something? Go for Champagne or Prosecco. Feeling bold? A rich Cabernet Sauvignon or spicy Zinfandel is perfect. ✨ Mood first, wine second. That’s the secret. 2️⃣ What Are You Eating? Pairing wine with food doesn’t have to be complicated. Just match the intensity: Light food (salads, seafood, cheese)? Go with a light wine like Pinot Grigio or Rosé. Savory dishes (pasta, chicken, grilled veggies)? A medium-bodied wine like Pinot Noir or Malbec works well. Rich, hearty meals (steak, BBQ, spicy dishes)? A bold wine like Syrah or Tempranillo will hold up. ✨ If all else fails, Rosé and sparkling wines pair with almost anything! 3️⃣ Do You Want Something Familiar or Adventurous? If you love what you know: Stick with a grape or region you trust. If you’re in the mood to explore: Try a less common varietal like Grenache, Albariño, or Carmenère. ✨ Tip: Wines from Portugal, South Africa, or Argentina often deliver amazing quality for the price! Your Turn! How do YOU pick a bottle of wine? Are you a mood drinker, a food matcher, or a spontaneous shopper? Drop your method below—let’s help each other sip smarter! 🍷✨⬇️ *** Another piece of content for your marketing ***

Zinfandel or a Northern Barossa Shiraz will work well.
The Most Overrated Wine “Rules” You Should Totally Ignore🍷🍇🚫
There are so many so-called rules about wine, but let’s be real—some of them are just outdated nonsense. Here are five wine “rules” you can officially stop following (because wine should be fun, not stressful). 1️⃣ “Only Drink Red Wine with Meat & White Wine with Fish” 🚫 False! While certain pairings work well, the best match is whatever you enjoy. White wine with steak? Sure! Pinot Noir with salmon? Absolutely! ✨ Pro Tip: Light reds like Gamay or Pinot Noir pair beautifully with seafood. 2️⃣ “Older Wine Is Always Better” 🚫 Nope! Most wines are meant to be enjoyed young (within a few years). Only a small percentage of wines actually improve with age. If you’re waiting for a “perfect” moment to open a bottle, that moment is now! 3️⃣ “You Have to Use Fancy Wine Glasses” 🚫 Not really! While the right glass can enhance aromas, it’s not a dealbreaker. If you’re drinking wine from a mason jar, coffee mug, or straight from the bottle (no judgment), it still tastes just as good. 4️⃣ “Screw Caps Mean Cheap Wine” 🚫 Definitely not! Some of the best winemakers in the world now use screw caps because they’re better for freshness and consistency. A twist-off doesn’t mean lower quality—it means no cork issues! 5️⃣ “White Wine Should Always Be Ice Cold & Red Wine Room Temperature” 🚫 Outdated thinking! White wines taste best slightly chilled, not freezing cold. Red wines actually shine when slightly cool (stick your bottle in the fridge for 15 minutes before serving!). Your Turn! Which wine “rule” do you love to break? Or have you ever been judged for drinking wine your way? Let’s debunk more myths together—drop your thoughts below! 🍷✨⬇️ *** Another piece of content for your marketing ***

Pinot Noir and Salmon is my favorite pairing.
What Time of Day Should You Really Be Drinking Wine🍷
The Answer Might Surprise You ⏰🍇 Most people think wine is just for evenings—but what if we told you that there’s actually an ideal time of day to taste wine at its best? (Hint: It’s not after dinner.) 🕑 The Best Time to Taste Wine Is… Between 11am and 1pm Yep, you read that right. Midday is when your taste buds are most alert and your palate is cleanest. No strong coffee, lunch, or lingering toothpaste messing with your sense of flavor. ✨ Why It Works: Your senses are sharper. You’re not influenced by food or fatigue. The wine shows off its truest character. 🍷 Morning Wine: Not Just for Winemakers Professional tasters and sommeliers often sample wines in the late morning for this exact reason. And you don’t need to spit like the pros (unless you want to)—you can enjoy it! 💡 Want to Try It? Set up a mini tasting this weekend before lunch. Just one or two small pours: A crisp white or sparkling to start A light red or rosé as a follow-up Then see how different those same wines taste later that night. You’ll be shocked at the difference! ⚠️ Not for Everyone Obviously, if you’ve got work or errands, maybe save this for a day off—but when the schedule allows, give it a shot. It’s a fun way to experience wine like a pro! Your Turn! Have you ever tried wine during the day and noticed it tasted better? Or do you have a favorite “wine o’clock” time that always hits right? Drop it below—let’s talk timing! 🍷✨⬇️ *** Another piece of content for your marketing ***

All the tastings I conduct are at noon. Personally, I find 9am in the morning when you haven't polluted your palate (water is ok) I spend a lot of time tasting, writing, reviewing wine and early morning seems to work best for me. Cheers, guys.
