A question or two.
Hello guitar peeps! I've been playing for decades and tend to love all kinds of guitar playing and guitar music. I've noticed that there are different types of guitarists and guitar playing and I'm curious to hear what other people have to say on this subject. I also noticed as with life itself that even when I've practised consistently, played well, become more skilled and fluent, someone comes along and blows me out of the water!? I realised that no matter how well I practise I'm unlikely to be anywhere near the greats. But that's ok. But that aside, I'm more of an instinctive guitarist, I took to jamming and improv quite readily when I noticed many other guitarists couldn't. Yet when it came to actually sitting and learning by rote, I found this difficult, preferring to 'do my own thing'. I think both approaches have strengths and weaknesses as a guitarist and musician. I tend to be creative and write many songs and bits of music too, but how good any of these are I really can't say. I veer between thinking they're great to thinking they're crap. Sound familiar?! What I now feel is that regardless of any ability or lack thereof, I just want to enjoy playing the guitar and not seeing it as endless progression or seeing that something is always out of reach. I hope that ramble makes sense?! Party on dudes!!!

Hey Mike Abalos There is allways others that blows us away, and that is some of the best of beeing a musician. Some of them I love and learn from, and some of them I just want to pracrice and beat. Show them that I can blow them out any time. To do that I have to practice hard, learn new skills and stay cool. Some times I realize that other musicians really find my singing while playing a guitar in an opposite way amazing. I dont think of it like anything, but when I do think back, I remember how hard it was to learn it, you know, like a cake. Normaly I use half of the cake for my guitar to back up the other half for my song. But sometimes I play all the cake on my guitar, and then sing an orher cake over it all. You know, if you have to sing over some lead that doesn’t follow your song. It takes a lot of practice, but when you have learned it and it works, you forget how hard it was. You just do it and you don’t think of it as something special. But other musicians do. Everybody has something. You have something, I have, we sll have. Keep om rockinh my friend
Music is my life
I’m a highly skilled music and guitar-teacher. If I can teach in here and also learn something new, I’ll be happy. I have played the guitar, both as a rock musician and as a singasong writer for many many years. I love to play at smal events, in bars, at partys, and I allways do my best. i was the original lead singer in the danish heavy metal band Pretty Maids, but I left them when they got famous. I left because I still loved the hard rock like Led Zeppelin, The Who, Derp Purple, Beatles and many more much more. I still play the guitar and sing, and I love it
