I’m definitely with you on this one, Nathaniel. I use a pillow like this every single night. I’m a side sleeper, and I actually bought one of those long body pillows from Walmart. It runs from my head all the way down between my knees, and I hug that thing all night. 😂 It helps my shoulders, keeps me comfortable on my side, and I sleep beautifully with it. Before I had my hips replaced, when they got so bad that I couldn’t sleep comfortably on my side anymore, I had to sleep on my back. I would put pillows underneath my knees so they stayed elevated and slightly bent. That helped tremendously. I’ve always been a good sleeper, so when my hips got to the point where they were interfering with my sleep, that was a big deal for me and part of what ultimately led me to getting the surgeries done. Now I’m back to sleeping comfortably on my side with my big ol’ pillow. 😂 For me, a good night’s sleep is a top priority. We can train, exercise, eat right, and do all the other things, but we have to give the body time to rest and recover. Especially as we get older, that quality sleep matters. Let the body rest. Let it recover. Then get up and go again. 💪🥋
