Hi everyone, For some context, I started using PrintShrimp as part of a student project (basically a graded passion project). The project in question is selling my art on Etsy in the form of posters. Through the Classroom videos on here, and from what I've seen from other guides, posting as much listings per day seems to be critical for success in selling posters. However, as part of my project, I can only create products in which the entire illustration is done by me from start to finish (no AI). With this in mind, I can only create one listing every 2-7 days (depending on how complex the illustration is). I feel like my listing schedule is setting me up for failure. I'm not sure where to go from here, if there's anything I can do to help my situation, or if it's really even as big of a deal as I think it is and I should just continue what I've been doing. Any feedback would be really helpful here!! :)

I may be looking to move over to upscayl for my images, what plan do you guys have? How many credits is it to do one image enough for our biggest print? Pro plan is 300 credits a month for $24.99

Not sure which of these options I should tick: the "I did" option brings up the 'Ai' option below it, but the "Another company or person" does not. What's the implications of ticking "Another company or person" - is there a downside one way or the other? Does it make any difference in terms of sales?

I set up my shop last week and very gradually adding prints to it. For the first few days, I had a flurry of scam emails asking me to click links to update payment details etc. which I expected after being warned in the videos. However, I posted a new print about half an hour ago and have had an email with just one line asking me to confirm sizes. There are no messages on my Etsy profile just this direct email. Is it possible that prospective buyers can email me directly? I am trying to find where my email might be displayed? Or is this another scam? TIA

Just a little encouragement for anyone still building their store and wondering if all the work is worth it… Last night I was packing for a long-haul flight when an order came through for one of my regular prints. The artwork was already with Print Shrimp, so I imported the order, paid through my wallet and carried on packing. Order 1. A couple of hours’ sleep later, driving to the airport when another order came in. This time it was a brand-new design that I hadn’t uploaded the artwork to PS yet. Order 2. I checked in my bags, found a quiet corner at the airport, resized the artwork on my phone, uploaded it to Print Shrimp and got the order sorted before boarding my flight. When I landed after the first leg, I discovered I’d sold a digital download while I was in the air. Even better, nothing to do! Order 3. Then another customer bought three prints. Two were already uploaded, but the 3rd was a new design so found a quiet corner in the lounge -and resized the missing artwork on my phone, uploaded it and got the order into production before catching my next flight.Order 4,5 and 6 ! And that’s when it really struck me. 6 Orders and my little business travelled with me. No stockroom, no packing boxes and no trips to the post office. Just my phone, my artwork and Print Shrimp taking care of the printing, packing and shipping. There is a HUGE amount of work involved in building your store and getting everything set up, and there have definitely been moments when I’ve wondered what on earth I’m doing! But this is the payoff. While I was packing, driving, sleeping and flying across the world, my shop just kept going. So for anyone still knee-deep in creating, resizing, uploading and wondering whether all those hours are worth it - just keep going. You’re not just building a shop. You’re building yourself a little bit of freedom. ❤️
