Need Help Calculating the Cost of Work Done?
I built an integration between TaxCloud and Zoho Books. I connected: Invoices Quotes Credit Notes Sales Orders All of these now automatically show the correct tax based on the customer’s shipping address when they are created. If the shipping address is changed later, the tax is updated accordingly based on the new address. The whole integration, including testing, took me about 5 days(~30h). I used Claude as an assistant in everything. How much would you charge for this kind of service? This is actually my first freelance job of this type, so I’m not sure how to price it. I’d really appreciate any advice, because I find it quite difficult to evaluate my work in monetary terms. At the same time, I don’t want to quote a price that is too high, because I’d like to keep working with this client, but I also don’t want to undervalue my work.
