@Kchiro Beluecefa Regarding Autotune and if U don’t want to have any artifacts ,I would say none. But if U planning to use it in a studio environment ( I do not do gigs anymore so I do not have any knowledge of any hardware alternatives) And if U haven’t already . Take a Look on Celemonys Melodyne They have excellent tutorials and what U get from each step https://helpcenter.celemony.com/M5/doc/melodyneStudio5/en/M5tour_QuickStart_studio?env=standAlone They do have a try out: https://www.celemony.com/en/trial And when U decided: https://shop.celemony.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CelemonyShop.woa Melodyne 5 essential Melodyne 5 assistant Melodyne 5 editor Melodyne 5 studio It can seem pricy but if U start with essential They recurrently launch upgrade sales For example: U can buy essential for 25€ U can upgrade from essential to Assistant for 49 € U can upgrade from Assistant to Editor for 99 € And finally U can upgrade from Editor to Studio for 99 € So half the price if U start with Studio directly 650€ ( do not know if U can do it on one go) I do not recommend U going for Studio initially start with essential (and maybee upgrade to assistant) I’m currently running Studio (for its polyphonic feature) but started with essential and learned and grew with as needs ariseed. With studio I can correct and change a cord for major to minor . Move a note in a solo a.s.o Create believable background harmonics And as a disclaimer I haven’t tested any other plugins since I didn’t find a need for it. Best regards P-G P.s With all these new possibilities I don’t regard myself as a musician anymore, but rather a composer D.s

New Logic release
Hello ! I upgraded to the new the Logic pro release this week, (needed to upgrade to latest Mac OS to be able to do so ). Have had some strange things happening. 1. First during some noodling on one of my guitars (with the Logic tuner window open)  hitting 12 fret. "oh w..t.f my guitar is not intoned" showing almost +20 % (continuous). Checked with my physical tuner and everything looked normal. Checked the logic tuner using my piano, say +15% off.input appreciated. 2.Received a sick Delay on one of my old recording and had to restart the OS to get it working.. Have U Logic users upgraded and if so do U had any problems? B.R P-G

@Sam King I never upgraded to Sequoia. Might have been the reason that the new Logic version was not a selectable alternative until I upgraded. I bought Logic and Mainstage 2010 and I never have had an upgrade problem until Big Sur and M1. (When my Roland GR55 stoped working ( USB (Midi still worked) took 12 month to solve). Other than, as Maike Beckers, weird timing and delay problems that I also solved with moving to a new project. I only use Logic to create music, so Apple Creator Studio is not an option for me. I have not used any of the session players jet, but might test the new synth pad features later. Tested the new Cord Id analyse feature, but I think that it missed the nuances like major7 and add9, but that might be my playing. I usually add the cords manually, nice feature though. Have anyone tested the accuracy of the logic tuner at 12:th fret and above ? I tested with my Synths and have the same problem in the upper registers. B.R P-G

MIDI Drums
Hi All, I'm not a drummer. I've found loops and samples that I like for my genre but with time stretching and not being able to stem split my loops (older macbook), it takes a long time to program the drums from the loops into MIDI and then use the samples that I like. The loops are great for quick demo but not for the final production. If it was simply just replacing a kick that would be easy but I need to do all the cymbals and everything. Is there a way to speed this process up or a place that has great midi packs that I could use with my samples? Using Logic Pro.

I am an old Punk drummer , but today I mostly play jazz drums. I use my Millennium MPS1000 ((MiDi mesh) not Roland but good enough). But I also use my synth pads and keys to program the drums... (logic stock sets and then quantify kick, snare and let toms hihat an cymbals swing ;-) (I do have Toontrack and their EZdrummer and SuperiorDrummer). Logic session drummer is a alternative (if U can run latest logic), but I found an affordable option in Groove Monkey (10$ package) Midi samples (depending on your taste of groove ((everything is not Great) but test their freebies and get an opinion) B.R P-G P.S Like Your style D.S
