Powerlifting with Scoliosis
This is something that I come across with clients from time to time. Does anyone have any experience with this specifically within the context of powerlifting? Any insights are much appreciated 🙏

Hey luke. I’ve just seen this I know it’s way back in September when I had just given birth. I’ve seen plenty of powerlifters , athletes and general population with scoliosis. It’s usually the red herring in regards to pain in the spine. Most scoliosis are functional not structural. So they are caused by muscle actions pulling it into position. Structural scoliosis that impacts a client is if Cobb angle greater than 40 degrees annd will affect pain. Those will be very obvious limping and crooked. Functional scoliosis can be changed with strength and work.

🎣 Wrist/Elbow Resource 🎣
Fishing for comments and likes so I can unlock Pei's wrist rehab resource 😂 Trying to look into helping a lifter with wrist extensor tendinopathy (?ext carpi) who gets sharp pain on picking up anything (even light) with grip

Wrist extensor tendinopathy converges into a common extensor origin at the lateral aspect and when it is painful = tennis elbow The medial aspect will be golfers elbows w the common flexor origin
