My husband & I live on 40 acres in Central Missouri USA. This is my parents original farm where I grew up and have owned horses and cows since I was 8 years old. We never had donkeys (unfortunately). My Dad never encouraged it as he grew up with mules as work animals at a time when mules were not bred for a good disposition like they are today. I did own many horses through the years and still do. In 2016, my husband and I went on one of the Grand Canyon mule rides. It was there that we discovered how smart mules were. When we got home, we bought a mule which eventually led to this group and taking your trimming course several years ago. Wish I had found you sooner! I want a donkey, but they are hard to find in this area.
