For example, I recently took a carpet cleaner's customer list and filtered it down to customers who had actually paid for a service within the last 4 years, then sent them a review request. The customers are real customers, the text comes from the business's own number, and there's no promotion, just a Google review request. But what if the business doesn't have documented SMS opt-in for every customer? Are you guys: - Sending to the full past-customer list? - Only texting contacts with documented SMS consent? - Using email for older customers? - Doing something else? I've seen tons of agencies selling this exact "customer list → SMS → reviews" model, but almost nobody talks about this part. Would love to hear from anyone actually running these campaigns.
