Have you thought about how you will start afresh? Bait hives, nucs?

Enemy of the bees
Hello everyone, we checked and weighed our bee hives today. Our hives weigh an average of between 24 and 15 kilos. Unfortunately, one colony died because we're having a tough time with wasps and hornets. What predators of bees do you have to fight in your region?

We have wasps in Sth West UK. I adapted my beekeeping to support my bees. 1. I harvest honey before the wasps get too active - midsummer. 2. After harvesting I remove queen excluder, return the ā€˜wet’ frames and prepare the hives for winter. 3. This allows the bees to seal up entrances with propolis before the wasps get too active 4. The bees also have the rest of summer to fill up frames with nectar to last them through to Spring. Wasps are the rubbish collectors of nature and so enabling bees to be healthy & strong means they don’t need ā€˜cleaning up’ by wasps

The Real Secret That Keeps a Business Growing
I’ve realized in my own journey that it’s not always the lack of resources that slows us down… it’s the lack of consistency. There were days I felt super motivated, but after a while, the energy faded and so did my progress. Recently, I started applying a simple hack: Writing down just 3 non-negotiable tasks every morning no matter how busy I get, I make sure those 3 things get done. And honestly, it has shifted how I show up in my business. Motivation can get you started, but consistency keeps you growing. I’m curious: What’s one practical habit or routine that helps YOU stay consistent in your business, even when motivation runs low?

I love a list too, and start with my non negotiables. So uplifting when you complete your top 3! I found breaking down the bigger tasks into segments, otherwise I would never complete anything!
