Does This Sound Familiar
Something I’ve been noticing lately, both for myself and others, is how easy it is to feel stuck before even starting. Not because we are not capable, but because there are too many directions and it becomes overwhelming. What I have found is that when things feel confusing, it helps to come back to one simple question. What is one thing I can focus on today? Not everything. Just one thing. For me, that might be watching one training, writing a few lines, or just taking the time to understand one idea a little better. It may not feel like much at the time, but I am finding that those small steps start to bring clarity. QuestionWhat is one small thing you could focus on today without overthinking it?

Staying in the Process
Staying With It One thing I’m learning is that progress doesn’t always mean moving forward quickly. Sometimes it means staying in the process long enough for things to make sense. Choosing not to quit — especially on unclear days — has become its own form of progress for me. Question: What’s something you’re staying with right now, even though it’s taking time?

@Carol Trickett that's great. How are you doing it. Mine is good except my triglycerides the bottom part of cholesterol readings. They're higher than they should be I'm on medication but I really think I should try and correct it with eating so I'm open to anything you can share thanks Carol

@Despina Charavgi That's the first step I also sent you a couple of links to check out. Let me know if I can help with anything else
Tell me what you are looking to learn in 2026
I’d Love Your Input I want this community to truly support you, so I’d love to hear from you. What would you most like to learn inside Second Act Income Collective this year? There’s no right or wrong answer. It could be: - Something about online income or digital marketing - Understanding YouTube or social media - Feeling more confident with technology - Knowing what to focus on (and what to ignore) - Or something you’ve tried before and felt stuck with Your questions and ideas help shape what I share here and make this space more helpful for everyone. If you feel comfortable, please share in the comments. And if you’re not sure yet, that’s okay too—sometimes clarity comes as you listen. Thank you for being here and helping this community grow. — Paula

I have two suggestions for you Despina. I have an e-book you can access at this link I think I have it priced at $27.00 https://www.pauladailypay.com/start-1349141c-9f179188. I also have a free guide to the training program that I use at www.pauladailypay.com. This is free roadmap and it tells you about any one of the 4 choices you can purchase to learn how to promote and sell digital products they are built for you, so you don't have to develop your own products. Take a look and let me know your thoughts Paula

Creating content
Something I’ve been learning is that creating content doesn’t have to be complicated. For a while, I thought I needed everything “figured out” before I could even start a YouTube video. What I’m finding now is that having a simple structure makes it feel a lot more doable. I came across a prompt that breaks a script into:– a simple hook– the real problem– 3 easy points– and a soft close That alone made it feel less overwhelming. 💬 Question:Do you prefer having a simple structure when you create something, or do you just go with the flow?

Anti-Social-Media-Grind Hooks(Stand against spending all day online)
A great hook speaks to one person, not the entire internet. When the right person hears the right hook, they feel like the content was made for them. There’s a conversation happening that doesn’t get talked about enough… A lot of people are trying to build income online—but they’ve accidentally recreated the same “busy” lifestyle they were trying to leave. Posting all day. Watching metrics. Chasing trends. But that’s not leverage… that’s just digital busy work. The real shift happens when you start asking:“What can I build once that continues to work for me?” That’s where systems, automation, and focused time come in. I’ve been spending more time in a space called Second Act where the focus is exactly that—building smarter, not louder. Curious… are you building something that gives you time back, or takes more of it? Anti-Social-Media-Grind Hooks(Stand against spending all day online) 1. Building income online shouldn’t require living on social media. 2. If your business requires posting all day, that’s not leverage. 3. The goal isn’t more screen time — it’s smarter systems. 4. A business that only works when you’re online isn’t scalable. 5. I believe online business should create time, not consume it. 6. Two focused hours can accomplish more than twelve scattered ones. 7. Automation should work while you sleep. 8. The internet created leverage — not more hustle. 9. The smartest creators build systems, not just content. 10. You shouldn’t have to live on your phone to build income online.
