Connections, connections, connections.
For the longest time, I neglected my Linkedin account. I never thought that it would be useful or necessary. Now I realise that when it comes to applying for jobs - it's all about the connections. Have you created a Linkedin account?

I’ve had loads of great conversations through mine! It always works best when I don’t try to sell, just try to talk to people - little conversations lead to bigger things!
A Quick Introduction and What I'm Here to Build
Hi everyone, I'm Amelia! I'm currently a Psychology undergraduate student at the University of Glasgow, and I've joined the Consultico team to develop this Fellowship into something that can really boost employability. I’m here to help create something that's genuinely useful for everyone, regardless of the role they’re pursuing or the background they come from. Your opinions matter, and giving us feedback on your experiences of interacting with the job market will really help us to give tailored content. So, my first question is: what do you find most difficult about applying for a job? The hardest part of job applications for me is submitting dozens of applications and receiving no response. Recently, I have realised a tailored CV is essential for getting your foot in the door.

Rejection Therapy
Have you come across this before? The best way to get good at something is to try (and fail!) at it over and over until it works. If you’re TRYING to succeed, that can suck. So what if we flip the script instead? Rejection therapy basically means going out every single day and asking for things, all with the aim of getting rejected. It might be a free coffee, to try out something cool you’ve always wanted to do, maybe even turn on a police car’s siren 🚨. If your aim is to fail, can you really fail? Have you come across this before? What do you think of it?
