I am curious: What do you folks use for building? What programming language? What framework (if you use one)? Where do you deploy? What's great and what is still too painful?

Hey, I use Django, deployed on AWS or DigitalOcean app platform. Sometimes with a react frontend. I'm thinking about using rails+hotwire or laravel+livewire because my daily work is also with Django and sometimes it's too much Django :D
What do you think of this idea?
The problem: newsletters are becoming less and less widely read, and quite time-consuming to produce. The facts: Video content is the most consumed today, and yet newsletters remain an extremely powerful way to connect with your audience. The idea: substack but in video format. The idea is not to transform written content into video with a faceless AI. Rather, it's to replace the newsletter with video content, with the possibility of including cta... The benefit: create a close bond with your audience. Simplicity of consumption compared to reading. I'd love to hear what you think

I think Google workspace is a must have when you're starting a new business. And it's pretty cheap for the number of features.

Hello everyone, I'm Paul, a French software engineer who has worked on several startups that have more or less worked (but to be honest, more less 😅). I'm currently working on capyflow, a CSV import platform that helps software build the best data onboarding experience in their software. It's a pain point I've seen in almost every project I've worked on, and I think I can do something better than what currently exists 🙂 I also really like to talk about indie hacking, software engineering and discover other people projects, so this place looks perfect 😀 Also, do not hesitate to add and DM me on linkedin 👈 if you want to talk about your project
