So I’m getting ready to have my parts cut and I’m not sure what type of steel, thickness, size sheet. I have to transport metal to the table I’m using to cut parts. I also don’t want a lot of waste to have to deal with. Any info would be helpful, I have a standard pickup nothing fancy that I will be using to transport the steel.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but what thickness are the "Y-A-X Hard Limits .119 x5" suppose to be? Is this 10 or 11 gauge sheet? Also, I understand the gussets are optional but are they intended to be 3/16" or 1/4"? Lastly, I was able to fit all the pieces including the gussets on a 36" x 48" piece. I put it all on one dxf file which I would be happy to share if Grant was okay with it (being this is his work). This drawing also includes the (6) torch spacer plates instead of making 2 of them out of .375 material. Also includes the gussets for the moment.

Always loved working on vehicles and hanging out in the garage with my boys. Too many projects and not enough time.
