Ask the Coaches Friday at 10 EST!
It’s not about knowledge, it’s about experience and repetition. We all took the course, we all heard the material at least once, but we need to live it for weeks or months or years until we exist at the level we aspire to! Spending time with other humans on the same journey energizes us to keep going, and having regular coaching/guidance helps us stay on track, so let’s make the time Friday at 10 EST for Ask the Coaches! 💪🏻🙌🏻

This is where we shine the most! Spontaneous, raw, and real! Be ready for some 🔥and 💧 Coach Chris and I have the same mission and purpose but our approach on how we approach this lifestyle may be different. Some will resonate with his style and many may not resonate with my 🔥 if I drop some cus words... Its only because I am passionate and extremely intense about our process. If that offends anyone... I AM NOT SORRY! That's on you if you 🤷🏻‍♂️😜🔥🔥🔥🔥😘🙏🏽
LEADERSHIP SHOWS—WITHOUT SAYING A WORD
LEADERSHIP SHOWS—WITHOUT SAYING A WORD I’ve been training twice a day at a local gym here in Charleston that was recently bought by a large franchise chain. New name, new management, new staff. Now, I’m no celebrity, but I train hard, stay consistent, and bring good energy—I joke that I’m like the mayor of the gym. I make it a point to smile, say hello, and treat everyone with respect. But when the new general manager came in… no eye contact. No intro. No handshake. Nothing. Until one day, Coach Jermaine—who trains my wife—told me I had to see the new manager to renew my membership. As I try to break the ice, I crack a joke and say, “I’m a Northerner turned Low Country Guido.” He flatly replied, “No, you’re not,” took my card, and that was it. No connection, no respect. Just a transaction. Honestly… I wanted to test his toughness the old-school way and throat punch him, but I didn’t. I just walked away and never looked back. Zero respect for me… zero respect back! Fast forward to this week—I meet Big Nate. As soon as I walk in, he greets me with a smile, introduces himself, and then I see him absolutely killing it in the gym before his shift starts. The next day? He’s mopping the floors upstairs, connecting with members, hustling with pride. So I walk up to him and say: “I respect the hell out of you. You train hard. You lead by example. You introduce yourself. You serve. THAT’S leadership.” He humbly tells me he’s the new GM and that big changes are coming. The next day, I brought him a copy of my book YOU Have Infinite Power—because he clearly walks the walk and is raising the standard, not just for himself, but for the whole facility. Listen, it doesn’t cost a thing to shake hands, show up with energy, and treat people like family. I know what its like as a business owner to create an energy in a environment. I also know what it is like to have employees and so-called managers collect a salary and not do shit. Some of those so-called managers can literally destroy a business within months because of their lack of passion, drive and work ethic. This dude has the “It Factor” and treats his job with pride and sets a high standard for himself, his environment and staff… that's a leader!

July 1st is the New January 1st
Let me ask you a question: What if you treated July 1st like January 1st? Most financial advisors start the year in January full of fire: ✅ Big goals ✅ Bold energy ✅ Crystal-clear vision But then summer hits… The sun’s out, distractions rise, and intensity drops. They hit cruise control. They tell themselves: “I’ll push hard again in the fall.” 🚫 NOPE. That’s not how winning is done. The champions I coach — the top producers — don’t take the summer off from momentum. They don’t get lazy when the weather gets nice. They shift their mindset and treat July like Q1 all over again. 💥 New goals 💥 New urgency 💥 New commitment 💥 New YOU 👉 July 1st is a reset, not a retreat. If you want to dominate Q3 and finish the year strong, it starts by flipping the switch now — not in October when it’s too late. Your future doesn’t care what month it is. It only cares how you show up today. 🔥 July 1st is your new January 1st. Let’s FKN go! #BeBetterEveryDay #JulyIsTheNewJanuary #FinancialAdvisorMindset #SummerIsForWinners #NoOffSeason #EmpoweredMastery #Q3Momentum #DisciplineOverDistraction #paulmelella
🔥 Become a Savage and a Servant
🔥 Become a Savage and a Servant Most male business professionals I coach have a powerful masculine presence. Driven. Focused. Competitive. They conquer, they lead, they build. That mindset — what I call the savage — is a gift. It’s the inner warrior, like a samurai who wakes up every day ready to fight for his family, protect his village, and create new opportunities. But here’s the truth… Being a savage alone isn’t enough. The most powerful men I know — and coach — are also deeply grounded in the energy of a servant. They lead with love. They show up with empathy. They are caring, compassionate, and kind — not just in business, but at home, in their marriages, and with their kids. You don’t have to choose between strength and softness. Between discipline and love. Between being a protector and being present. You can be both. You must be both. Because that is where true power lives. At Empowered Mastery, we teach our clients how to intentionally tap into both the savage and the servant. We challenge them to evolve daily — mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. That’s the IL IL SHIN way. Be Better Everyday. Which part of you needs more attention right now — the savage or the servant? 👇 Drop a 🔥 if you’re committed to being BOTH. #SavageAndServant #ILILSHIN #BeBetterEveryday #EmpoweredMastery #MenWithPurpose #HighPerformanceLeadership #EmotionalIntelligence #MasculineBalance #LeadWithLove #WarriorMindset #PersonalMastery #MindsetShift

🎥 Can You Dance in the Rain?
Our daughter Kiahna came home from college with a story… She and her friends had plans outside — then the skies opened up and it poured. Most of them got frustrated. But Kiahna? She smiled and said, 🌧️ “I’m so excited to go outside and dance in the rain!” Her friends thought she was crazy. But when she told us the story, my wife Gina didn’t hesitate — She interrupted and said, 💬 “I would’ve totally danced in the rain with you!” That moment hit me… Kiahna’s ability to reframe the storm into joy — That came from watching her mom live it every day. 🙏 This wasn’t about rain. It was about perspective. Life’s storms are inevitable. But how we respond? That’s a choice. ➡️ You can focus on the storm… Or you can choose to dance in it. What will you choose?
