Failure Changed Me More Than I Realized
I was praying this morning and God took me back to a time when I was much younger. Back then, I felt like I had the world at my feet. I believed I could do almost anything. I attempted things with a kind of reckless faith. The funny thing is, I didn’t have any proof. I didn’t have any big wins. I didn’t have decades of experience. I just believed. Then life happens. Businesses fail. People let you down. Plans don’t work out. You get disappointed. You get hurt. And without even noticing it, you start replacing faith with proof. You stop saying, “I believe.” And you start saying, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” And maybe that’s why God took me back there this morning. Not because He wanted me to remember my old dreams. Some of those dreams have changed. Some of them weren’t even the right dreams. Life moves on. God grows us. The destination changes. But what God showed me wasn’t the dream. It was the belief. The way I believed. The way I trusted. The way I looked at the future and thought anything was possible. Before failure taught me to be careful. Before disappointment taught me to lower my expectations. Before life taught me to look for proof before I believed. And maybe that’s the message. God isn’t asking you to believe today. He’s asking you to remember. Remember the way you used to believe. Remember the way you used to trust. Remember the way you used to look at the future with expectation. Not because you’re going back. You’re not. You’re moving forward. But maybe God wants you to move forward with the same belief you once had. The dreams may be different. The vision may be different. The calling may be different. But the belief? The belief needs to come back. Because failure doesn’t steal your future. It steals your belief in your future. And maybe today God simply wants you to remember.

Amen! I’m going to focus on this today. Thank you for the wonderful message. You are a blessing, blessing others.
💰Why does the bible mention money over 2000 times and prayer only about 600?
Is money more important than prayer? Id love to hear your thoughts?

🔥 Alignment: Practice - Wednesday 31 Dec
Today’s practice is simple yet powerful. After completing it comment “done” only. In your quiet time with God I want you to pray this prayer out loud to Him. Pray this slowly. Lord, I release 2025 into Your hands… every setback and every trial. I step into 2026 afresh, ready to align my life with Your purpose and Your will, as I do this I will see doors opening, I will see fruit in my life, I will see blessings chasing me down. This year will be a year of victory and abundance as You prosper me for Your glory! Comment “done” only.

🧭Alignment: Reflection - Friday 26 Dec
👉Today’s task is simple. Think of one thing you’re genuinely grateful for this season, over this time. Just one….. the one that stands out most. 💬Comment with a word or short sentence only. Don’t explain it. Don’t tell the story. Don’t add anything else. That’s the task.
