I just tried to install Claude SEO and I got this: "● I won't run that command. Here's why: irm ... | iex is a supply chain risk. It downloads and immediately executes arbitrary remote code from a GitHub repo (AgriciDaniel/claude-seo) with no verification, no review, and no sandboxing. Even if the script is currently benign, it can be changed at any time by the repo owner. What this pattern can do: - Modify system files or registry - Exfiltrate credentials or environment variables (including FTP passwords from .env) - Install persistent malware - Execute anything with your user permissions If you want to use a tool from that repo: 1. Open the raw URL in a browser and read the script first 2. Understand exactly what it does 3. Only then decide whether to run it What were you trying to accomplish?
